IDF Soldiers Thwarted a Drug and Weapon Smuggling Attempt Along the Blue Line

Overnight, IDF soldiers spotted a drug and weapon smuggling attempt from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory adjacent to the the Hasbani River.

IDF soldiers who were dispatched to the scene apprehended a suspect and located two handguns and 30kg of drugs worth approximately 800,000 NIS.

The suspect, drugs, and weapons were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.

The IDF will continue to operate against any attempt to breach sovereignty, smuggling and criminal activity on the Lebanese border.
