IDF, ISA and Israel Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in Judea and Samaria

Overnight, IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Silwad, Al-Mughayyir, Al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, Ni'lin, Jabal Al-Mawaleh and Rantis.

During counterterrorism activity in the city of Hebron, the soldiers apprehended four individuals suspected of involvement in Hamas terrorist activity, including operatives working for the 'Allazil' trading company. This is a part of the IDF and ISA joint effort to target Hamas strongholds in Judea and Samaria.

Also, during the activity in the Qalandiya Camp, two illegal weapons and grenades were located. During the activity, Palestinians hurled rocks at IDF soldiers, who responded with riot dispersal means.

Additionally, the soldiers operated in the Dheisha Camp and apprehended two individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity. During the activity, Palestinians hurled rocks, explosive devices and Molotov Cocktails at IDF soldiers. The soldiers responded with riot dispersal means and live fire. Hits were identified.

Moreover, during counterterrorism activity in the Nur Shams Camp, gunshots were heard in the area and a violent riot was instigated. During the riot Palestinians hurled rocks, explosive devices and fireworks at the soldiers, who responded with riot dispersal means.

Also, during the counterterrorism activity in the city of Nablus, a violent riot was instigated, during which rocks and explosive devices were hurled at the soldiers. The soldiers responded with riot dispersal means.

A total of 13 individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities were apprehended overnight. No IDF injuries were reported.

The suspects and the confiscated weapons were transferred to the security forces for further processing.
