The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Aviv Kohavi, visited the Gaza Division Today (Thursday) and held an operational-security situational assessment with the Commanding Officer of the Gaza Division, BG Nimrod Aloni, during which the IDF’s activity in the sector was presented.

Throughout the visit, the Chief of the General Staff ordered the IDF's increased readiness for escalation and the strengthening of defensive and intelligence efforts, and approved operational plans.
