The call was sent out using a variety of different means including thousands of pamphlets distributed aerially over Gaza and direct phone calls and text messages to Gazans from ISA personnel, urging them to evacuate south of Wadi Gaza and warning them of the risk of staying in the areas north of the Wadi.

IDF and Israel Border Police forces are currently conducting counterterrorism activity in the area of Jenin.

During the activity, two IDF soldiers were injured, one lightly and the second moderately. Five additional Israel Border Police officers were injured, two were moderately injured and three were lightly injured.

The forces were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.
