IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police Forces Conducted Counterterrorism Activities in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley Area

IDF soldiers apprehended three wanted suspects in the towns of Zababdeh, Rumana and Nur Shams. During the activity in the town of Nur Shams, suspects burned tires and fired fireworks and shots at the soldiers, who responded with live fire. In addition, the forces located and confiscated a handgun. The soldiers apprehended six additional wanted suspects in the towns of Beitunia, Qaryut and Bayt Surik.

During the activity in the city of Bethlehem, the forces located and confiscated an M-16 rifle, an Airsoft gun, magazines, ammunition and other additional weapons.

The soldiers apprehended three suspects in the Aqabat Jabr camp and in the town of Tamun. During the activity in the Aqabat Jabr camp, armed suspects fired at the soldiers, who responded with live fire. Hits were identified. One of the weapons used by the suspects to fire at the soldiers was located and confiscated.

The forces apprehended eight wanted suspects in the towns of Biddya, Al-Eizariya and the city of Hebron.

The wanted suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning, no IDF injuries were reported.
