Since October 7th and the start of the war, the critical importance of the international arena in influencing combat and operational decision-making has been evident.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit's multilingual spokespersons team is at the forefront of the battle for international public opinion and decision-makers.
Now, we aim to expand the existing team and integrate a new generation of multilingual speakers who will contribute to efforts in traditional and digital media, as well as senior delegation missions.

The International Media Branch of the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit will train and activate a new cohort of spokespersons from across the IDF (both in regular and reserve service) who meet the following criteria:

•⁠ ⁠Regular and reserve soldiers up to the rank of Major.
•⁠ ⁠Soldiers serving or have served in non-classified positions.
•⁠ ⁠Fluent in English and additional foreign languages.

The program will take place in December-January and will span several days in central Israel, during which the new IDF spokespersons will be trained to address the international audience.
