Why is the IDF striking in Gaza?

The IDF is striking terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization, whose operatives brutally massacred Israeli civilians just a week ago and have been terrorizing Israeli civilians for years. Terrorist infrastructure includes rocket launchers, underground attack tunnels and weapons production and storage facilities, among other things.

The call was sent out using a variety of different means including thousands of pamphlets distributed aerially over Gaza and direct phone calls and text messages to Gazans from ISA personnel, urging them to evacuate south of Wadi Gaza and warning them of the risk of staying in the areas north of the Wadi.
