The Incoming Chief of The General Staff, MG Herzi Halevi, in cooperation with the Chief of The General Staff LTG Aviv Kohavi, has decided to appoint Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari (IDF Navy) to be the next IDF Spokesperson.
The appointment was approved by the Minister of Defense Yoav Galant.

The officer will replace the current IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Ran Kochav in the months to come.
