An IDF combat soldier, Staff Sergeant Shilo Yosef Amir, 22 years old from the community of Meirav, Givati Reconnaissance soldier, was killed today (Thursday) by an assailant’s live fire while he conducted routine activity adjacent to the community of Kedumim. A short while after, IDF soldiers neutralized the assailant.

His family has been notified.

The IDF sends its heartfelt condolences to the family and will continue to support them.
