The “Orion” Special Forces Exercise
Thursday, the 31th of March began the International “Orion” Special Forces Exercise. Soldiers from the IDF’s Egoz Commando Unit and Unit 9900 trained alongside special forces units from Greece, Cyprus, France, Serbia, Bulgaria and the United States.
The exercise, which takes place in Greece, will focus on the sharing of knowledge and techniques for various scenarios. The participating units will demonstrate their abilities in the presence of senior commanders from the foreign forces, including Chief Infantry and Paratrooper Officer, Brigadier General Guy Levy.
The purpose of the exercise is to create a network between regional and international special forces to strengthen the operational cooperation between participating countries.
