Medic Combat Soldier Saves his Fellow Soldier

“The assailant arrived from behind us and stabbed one of the soldiers, I didn’t hesitate and neutralized the assailant; as a medic I gave life-saving medical care to my squad sergeant."

This was said by Corporal M., who is a soldier and medic in the “Tzabar” Battalion, who saved his fellow soldier and neutralized the assailant responsible for the stabbing attack in the city of Hebron.

The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical attention, while fully conscious, and his family has been informed.

The Commanding Officer of the Givati Brigade, Colonel Eliad Moati, visited the soldier who was injured in the stabbing attack.

The Commanding Officer of the Yehuda Regional Brigade, Colonel Ishay Rosalio said that “the soldier who neutralized the assailant provided outstanding  life-saving medical response to his friend.” Additionally he said that he wishes a fast recovery to the injured soldier and that the "Tzabar" Battalion and the "Yehuda" Brigade will continue to conduct counterterrorism activity in the area.
