Jordan Valley Shooting Attack

On Sunday morning, the fourth of September, a report regarding a shooting incident in the Jordan Valley area was received. An initial investigation indicates that it was a shooting attack, during which armed terrorists fired at a bus, severely injuring an IDF soldier and lightly injuring five additional soldiers and a civilian. The suspects have since fled the scene.
The injured civilian and soldiers are fully conscious and were evacuated to a hospital for further medical treatment and their families have been informed.

IDF and Israel Police forces were dispatched to the scene and began conducting searches after the terrorists and blocking routes in the area. A short while ago, two armed suspects were apprehended in a vehicle.

The security forces are continuing the searches after the terrorists and the suspects apprehended were transferred to the ISA for further processing.
