IDF soldier Staff Sgt. Natan Fitoussi was tragically killed by IDF fire

The IDF Spokesperson announced that an IDF soldier, Staff Sergeant Natan Fitoussi, was killed last night (Monday) by IDF fire adjacent to the town of Tulkarm, near the Judea and Samaria security barrier.

Staff Sergeant Fitoussi was a soldier in the Kfir Brigade, age 20 and from the city of Netanya.

Staff Sergeant Fitoussi was posthumously promoted from the rank of Sergeant to the rank of Staff Sergeant. 

Following the event, the IDF Military Police opened an investigation into the incident. The findings of the investigation will be transferred to the Military Advocate General.

The soldier’s family has been notified.

The IDF expresses its condolences to the family and will continue to support them.
