A Partnership Like No Other!
'Mifgash' or encounter in Hebrew, is a program dedicated to bringing Israeli officers to visit the U.S. for an opportunity to experience American-Jewish life. They get to see for themselves how the Jewish state is perceived and visit important Jewish sites within the U.S.
It’s a once in a lifetime chance to meet, connect and learn about one another. By chance, Captain Rotem, a Company Commander in the Nahal Brigade, went to the U.S. through the 'Mifgash' program and during their visit to West-Point he ran into Major David Frommer, a U.S. Military Officer, as well as a former soldier in the Nahal Brigade.
Bonds like these can only be accomplished through such unique participation between armed forces. Going to show how close the U.S. and Israeli military are, and how we might be more similar than what initially meets the eye.
Through joint cooperation we continue to strengthen our mutual bonds! 🇮🇱🇺🇸
