ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR: GAZA
On October 7, 2023, Israel awoke to its darkest morning. The day Hamas terrorists murdered over 1,200 men, women, and children, and took 251 people hostage into Gaza. What began as a brutal massacre became a war that tested Israel on every front. Over the course of two years, Israel fought to defend its people, dismantle terror, and bring the hostages home.
The Israel-Hamas War demanded immense tactical precision from the IDF, as Hamas deliberately operated from within civilian areas. This site brings together everything you need to know about the IDF’s operational activities in Gaza, and how our forces fought urban warfare while prioritizing civilian protection.
Across all of Gaza, IDF operations revealed the full scale of Hamas’ terror network. Intelligence and operational findings indicated the presence of tens of thousands of terrorists, hundreds of kilometers of tunnels, and thousands of tunnel entrances hidden beneath civilian areas.
IDF forces also identified thousands of land mines, along with missile-launching and storage sites.
These findings highlighted the extensive entrenchment of Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure throughout Gaza, as the organization transformed civilian neighborhoods into fortified terror zones that endangered Gazan lives and threatened Israeli troops.

WHO IS HAMAS?
Hamas is the Palestinian terrorist organization governing Gaza. Founded in 1987 as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, its declared goal is the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state in its place. Hamas has carried out decades of terror attacks targeting both Israelis and Palestinians.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a brutal invasion of southern Israel, murdering and kidnapping civilians in one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in history.
We aim to present the reality of Hamas’s actions and the impact of its terror inside and outside of Gaza.
