IDF Exposes Terror Tunnel
Today, October 20, 2020, a terror tunnel was located and exposed. The tunnel infiltrated into Israeli territory from the southern Gaza Strip, from the Khan Younis area.

The tunnel route was discovered as part of the continuous effort to locate and neutralize terror tunnels, and thanks to the technological and collection capabilities of the underground Sensory Concrete Barrier along Israel's border with the Gaza Strip. The terror tunnel did not cross the Sensory Concrete Barrier and there was no threat to nearby Israeli communities.
The Sensory Concrete Barrier, which was built over the last years and will be completed soon, provided the necessary indication for IDF engineering forces to locate the offensive terror tunnel.
The Hamas terror organization is responsible for all events transpiring in the Gaza Strip and emanating from it, and will bear the consequences for terror activity against Israeli civilians.
The IDF is determined to fulfill its mission to defend Israeli sovereignty and civilians, and will continue mitigating terror above and below ground wherever required.
