ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR: SOUTHERN GAZA
In southern Gaza, the IDF conducted extensive operations across major areas, including Khan Younis (East, North, and South), Rafah East, Tel al-Sultan, Yabna, and Shabura, revealing the full scope of Hamas’ entrenched terror network.
Across these sectors, findings indicated the presence of thousands of terrorists, hundreds of kilometers of underground tunnels, and thousands of tunnel entrances, many hidden within civilian infrastructure.
IDF troops also uncovered thousands of land mines and hundreds of missile sites and storage facilities.
The findings in southern Gaza demonstrated Hamas’ deep entrenchment beneath and among civilian neighborhoods, highlighting the organization’s systematic use of the population as human shields and the magnitude of the threat facing IDF forces on the ground.
