    11:50 The Jordanian and Syrian air forces launch an air attack against Israel.

    13:00 The 7th Brigade of the 84th Division defeats Egyptian forces at the Rafah crossing.

    14:00 The USS Liberty is mistakenly targeted—a U.S. intelligence ship which was mistakenly recognized as an Egyptian warship is struck by mistake.

  • Day 6
    04:00 The conquest of the Tel Hamra area is completed by the 45th Brigade.
    04:00 The Israeli government meets to discuss a ceasefire in the Golan Heights.
    08:30 The Syrians announce the fall of Quneitra to the IDF.
    11:30 The campaign to conquer the southern plateau of the Golan Heights begins.
