The “Helping Hand” Delegation has Completed its Assistance in the Miami Rescue Efforts

Members of the “Helping Hand” delegation of the IDF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, returned to Israel today (Monday) after assisting in the search and rescue efforts for missing persons at the site of the collapsed building in SurfSide, Miami. The delegation included experts in engineering, rescue and population assistance. The delegation worked around the clock in collaboration with local rescue personnel in a unified and determined effort to help locate missing persons at the disaster site.


The Israeli delegation is the largest delegation that arrived to help after the collapse of the building. The delegation demonstrated advanced capabilities in the field of technology, providing the rescue operations precise information which shortened the efforts to locate the missing persons. The IDF delegation worked in close cooperation with American rescue personnel. Last night, a ceremony was held at the end of the delegation's operations, in attendance was the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Miami residents and the families of the missing persons.The ceremony was held to thank the delegation for its activities and extensive assistance.

Well done on your hard work in helping to carry out such important humanitarian aid to our greatest ally, the United States of America.”
