IDF: The IDF struck several fuel storage complexes used by the military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran

The Israeli Air Force, with the guidance of IDF intelligence, struck a number of fuel storage facilities in Tehran a short while ago. 

The military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime make direct and frequent use of these fuel tanks to operate military infrastructure. Through them, the Iranian terrorist regime distributes fuel to various consumers, including military entities in Iran.

This is a significant strike that constitutes an additional step in deepening the damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime. The IDF will continue to operate with determination in order to significantly degrade the regime’s capabilities and remove threats to the State of Israel.

In an additional strike completed overnight approximately 2,000 kilometers from the State of Israel, the IDF struck a ballistic missile production site of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Shahrud area.

In recent months, the regime’s forces had been identified working to restore infrastructure and expand missile production at the site, after it had previously been struck during Operation ‘Rising Lion’.  The site in Shahrud is responsible for producing a significant portion of the missiles fired toward the State of Israel and the region. The strike severely damages the Iranian terror regime’s ability to continue producing missiles at this site.

The IDF will continue expanding strikes against the regime’s weapons production sites in order to cut off its ability to manufacture weapons and to thwart attempts to rebuild its infrastructure.

From the full remarks of the Commander of the Israeli Air Force, MG Tomer Bar: The first 72 hours — there is no air force in the world that could have delivered what you delivered. It is impressive by any standard. What happened here was a race against time — to put a kind of “blanket” in place and suppress all the surface-to-surface fire that at any moment could have been launched toward the State of Israel.

And you saw it — there were missile barrages. It wasn’t zero. But the offensive effort that we applied in a very, very aggressive way saved many lives. Every aircraft you prepared, every malfunction you fixed — essentially created the core of the operational deception.

It worked. And after those first 72 hours, once you saw that the volume of fire had dropped, we reached peak lethality — at a good and correct pace. And we will not stop. We will not stop. 
I see the determination in your eyes, and I want to tell you how very, very proud I am.

The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been notified.

IDF: In the heart of Tehran: The IDF dismantled the air defense situation room of the IRGC Air Force

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, acting on precise IDF intelligence, completed a broad wave of strikes targeting military infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terror regime across Tehran.

One of the main strikes during this wave of strikes targeted the situation room of the IRGC’s Air Force, responsible for the aerial situational assessment and to defend Iran’s airspace. The situation room was the first and most central air defense command center established in Tehran by the Iranian terror regime.

Additionally, the Israeli Air Force struck air defense systems, command centers, logistic storage facilities, and additional structures belonging to the terror regime that were located adjacent to the situation room.

Moreover, the IDF struck an additional site used by the terror regime to manufacture and launch ballistic missiles, along with weapons storage facilities of the Quds Force and additional logistics infrastructure in an IRGC base.

The strike on the situation room further degrades the Iranian’s control and command, and their air defense.

The IDF will continue to degrade all infrastructure of Iranian terror regime infrastructure throughout Iran.

IDF: The Israeli Air Force struck 16 aircraft belonging to the Quds Force that transferred weapons to Hezbollah

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a broad wave of strikes across Tehran and on military infrastructure located at the "Merabad Airport"in Tehran.

“Mehrabad Airport” was used by the Quds Force of the IRGC and served as a central hub for arming and funding the regime’s terrorist proxies in the Middle East. Aircraft loaded with weapons and cash took off from the airport numerous times and landed across the region for the use of the Iranian terror regime’s proxies.

In the strike, 16 aircraft of the “Quds Force” unit of the IRGC were precisely dismantled. These aircraft were transferring weapons to Hezbollah as part of the regime’s effort to arm the terrorist organization, which serves as its main terrorist proxy.

Also targeted were several Iranian fighter jets that posed a threat to Israeli Air Force aircraft operating in Iranian airspace.

Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

The strike on the military infrastructure at the airport not only disrupts the regime’s ability to arm Iran, but also terror proxies throughout the Middle East. The IDF continues to degrade military infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime across Iran.

IDF: New Footage: Israeli Air Force fighter jet intercepting an Iranian UAV right before crossing into Israeli territory

An Israeli Air Force fighter jet identified and intercepted an Iranian UAV before it entered Israeli territory, preventing potential harm to Israeli civilians.

Since the start of Operation ‘Roaring Lion’, the Israeli Air Force has intercepted over 110 UAVs that were launched by the Iranian terror regime toward the State of Israel.

This is part of a central IDF effort to thwart the threats to Israeli civilians while degrading the Iranian terrorist regime’s military infrastructure.

Overnight (Saturday), the IDF completed an additional wave of strikes targeting rocket launchers, weapons storage facilities, and additional military sites belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in various areas in southern Lebanon and in the Beqaa valley.

Additionally, yesterday (Friday), commanders of Hezbollah's ‘Radwan Force’ and two ‘Radwan Force’ command centers were struck in the area of Majdal Sel, in southern Lebanon.

The commanders who were struck, operated recently to advance and carry out various terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the issuing of advanced warning, the use of precise munition, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization as a result of the terrorist organization's decision to deliberately attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terrorist regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel.

IDF: Home Front Command clarification regarding the timing of the advance warning notification

The detection of barrages and launches is influenced by a variety of operational factors, and therefore it is not always possible to provide a long preparation time between the advance notification and the sirens. At times, the notification may be received relatively close to the sirens. It is important to clarify that there are situations in which sirens may be sounded without a prior advance notification, depending on operational conditions.

The Home Front Command sends an advance notification to mobile phones in the relevant areas as early as possible, as part of its public warning policy. The advance notification is intended to allow civilians to prepare and reach the best protected areas in their vicinity.

The IDF emphasizes that upon receiving the advance notification, civilians should improve their location to ensure optimal protection. If sirens are subsequently issued, civilians must immediately enter a protected area and remain there until a message announcing the end of the event is received.

This alert measure is in addition to the official warning systems of the Home Front Command: the siren network, the Home Front Command mobile app, and the National Emergency Portal.

Over 80 Israeli Air Force fighter jets, guided by IDF intelligence, completed an additional wave of strikes targeting infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terror regime in Tehran and additional areas in central Iran.

As part of the strikes, the IDF struck several military sites belonging to the Iranian regime, including:

- The main Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps military university, the Imam Hossein University, which was used for the training of IRGC officers. In addition, the military university was being used as an emergency asset; and most recently as an IRGC assembly compound, particularly during Operation 'Rising Lion'. The university contained multiple military assets utilized by the IRGC. As such, the site constituted a lawful military objective under the law of armed conflict, by its nature, use, and purpose.
- A storage site of the Iranian missile unit in which military bunkers and launching infrastructure were located.
- An underground infrastructure used for storing ballistic missiles, where hundreds of regime operatives were operating. The site included military bunkers and command centers from which senior officials of the Iranian regime were operating.

Moreover, additional targets were struck, including launch sites that were identified in several areas in western and central Iran, in order to reduce the scope of fire directed at the territory of the State of Israel.

The combined effort to strengthen the impact on the Iranian regime's firing and defense capabilities is ongoing, alongside continued efforts to degrade the Iranian regime’s production infrastructure.
