IDF: The IDF continues to locate and eliminate operatives of the Basij Unit: Over the past day the unit’s commander was eliminated and more than 10 Basij posts were struck in Tehran

Throughout Operation Roaring Lion, the IDF has conducted an organized and continuous effort to target the IRGC and the Basij Unit, during which hundreds of headquarters and command-and-control centers of the unit across Iran, and particularly in Tehran, have been dismantled.

Over the past several weeks, the IDF systematically targeted the unit’s command infrastructure. Following these operations, it was identified that Basij forces had relocated their activities to alternative headquarters, which were subsequently struck. After repeated strikes, a renewed deployment of Basij forces was identified, with forces operating from posts embedded within public areas in the heart of Tehran.

Following this identification, the Israeli Air Force, guided by precise IDF intelligence, struck Basij forces in recent hours who were operating from more than 10 different posts across Tehran.

Among the targets that were precisely struck was an emergency command position used by the Basij and the IRGC. The site had previously functioned as a football club compound, highlighting the regime’s deliberate and cynical practice of embedding military activity within civilian environments and using the civilian population as a shield for its terror activities.

The recent strikes, alongside the elimination of the unit’s commander, Gholamreza Soleimani, inflict significant and ongoing damage to the capabilities of the Basij unit.

In addition to serving as part of the regime’s armed apparatus, Basij forces have for years been responsible for carrying out terrorist activity and leading violent repression against civilians during internal protests.

The IDF will continue to monitor, locate, and strike the regime forces and the Basij unit wherever they operate.

IDF: The IDF continues striking Hezbollah targets across Lebanon

Over the past day, the IDF has continued to strike Hezbollah terrorist targets across Lebanon, including weapon storage facilities, launchers and launching sites, terrorists, and structures belonging to the organization.

Earlier today (Tuesday), the IDF struck a Hezbollah launcher in the Deir ez-Zahrani area. Furthermore, the IDF eliminated several Hezbollah terrorists across southern Lebanon. 

In addition, the IDF eliminated several Hezbollah terrorists across southern Lebanon and  struck a Hezbollah logistics structure in Beirut.

The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which chose to join the war and operate under the sponsorship of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF will not allow harm to Israeli civilians.

Upon receiving an alert, the public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice. 

Leaving a protected space is permitted only after receiving explicit instructions. The public is requested to continue acting in accordance with the Home Front Command’s guidelines.

IDF: Across three different areas in Lebanon: the IDF struck dozens of Hezbollah infrastructures sites

Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, the IDF has continued strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut. 

A short while ago, the IDF struck Hezbollah command centers in Beirut. This is in addition to several other command centers that were struck overnight in Beirut.

In addition, three launch sites were struck in the Beqaa area, deep within Lebanese territory. From these sites, Hezbollah terrorists launch rockets toward the State of Israel.

Furthermore, the IDF struck Hezbollah launchers and weapons storage facilities set to be used by the organization’s terrorists to carry out terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which chose to join the war and operate under the sponsorship of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF will not allow harm to Israeli civilians.

IDF: In recent hours, the IDF has detected expanded preparations by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to launch rocket barrages toward the State of Israel in the coming hours. 

The IDF is operating in order to thwart Hezbollah’s activities.

The aerial defense array and IDF soldiers deployed along the border are alert and prepared, both in defense and in offense.

IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), Israeli civilians hurled stones at IDF soldiers operating in an area adjacent to Kiryat Arba. As a result, an IDF soldier was injured and received medical treatment at the scene.

 

This incident follows an earlier event today, during which IDF soldiers and the Civil Administration personnel carried out enforcement activity against several unlawfully built Israeli structures at the HaOqfim Junction.

 

The evacuation was conducted following a security order signed by the Central Command, due to criminal activity and severe and exceptional incidents of violence originating from the area, which had affected the stability and security of the region.

 

Upon completion of the enforcement activity, the forces were attacked. No injuries were reported.

 

The IDF views any violence against its soldiers and commanders with utmost severity and strongly condemns such acts.

IDF: Underground infrastructure used to store weapons stockpiles was struck: The IDF continues to deepen the damage to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Yesterday (Monday), the Israeli Air Force struck a large underground terrorist infrastructure in the area of Kfara in southern Lebanon, under the direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate and the Northern Command. The site was used to store weapons caches, including cruise missiles and hundreds of rockets.

Over the past week, headquarters and terrorist infrastructure in Beirut used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to plan and carry out numerous terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel were also struck. Additional terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon was targeted as part of the IDF troops' forward defensive operations.

IDF: In a precise strike in Tehran: The IDF eliminated the Commander of the Basij Unit

Yesterday (Monday), the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, targeted and eliminated Gholamreza Soleimani, who operated as commander of the Basij unit for the past six years.

The Basij forces are part of the armed apparatus of the Iranian terror regime. During internal protests in Iran, particularly in recent periods as demonstrations intensified, Basij forces under Soleimani’s command led the main repression operations, employing severe violence, widespread arrests, and the use of force against civilian demonstrators.

The elimination of Soleimani adds to that of dozens of senior commanders from the armed forces of the Iranian regime who have been eliminated during the operation, and constitutes an additional significant blow to the regime’s security command-and-control structures. 

The IDF will continue to operate with determination against commanders of the Iranian terror regime.

IDF: IDF Chief of the General Staff in this morning’s situation assessment: “The IDF continues to act with determination against multiple targets in Iran. Significant preventive achievements were recorded overnight, with potential to influence operational outcomes and the IDF missions. These follow additional significant preventive actions carried out in recent days against external elements, including those connected to the Palestinian arena.”

This morning (Tuesday), the Chief of the General Staff held a situation assessment with the General Staff Forum.

During the assessment, the Chief of the General Staff instructed to continue pursuing operational opportunities as part of the overall operation against the Iranian terror regime and its entire axis.

Remarks from the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir: “The IDF continues to act with determination against multiple targets in Iran. Alongside the ongoing impact and degradation of the regime’s military and industrial production capabilities, we are targeting elements of the Revolutionary Guards and the regime’s oppressive apparatus. Significant preventive achievements were recorded overnight, with potential to influence operational outcomes and the IDF objectives. These follow additional significant preventive actions carried out in recent days in Iran against external elements, including those connected to the Palestinian arena. Among other activities, senior terror operatives from Gaza and Judea and Samaria, who were hiding in a safe house in Tehran, were thwarted. The operation  against Hezbollah and the neutralization of threats to northern communities continues to serve as another central operational arena. We are continuing to concentrate forces and conduct precise and targeted ground operations. Cooperation between the IDF and the U.S. Central Command continues to strengthen, with joint actions contributing to enhanced operational achievements. IDF: In a combined wave of strikes in Tehran, Shiraz and Tabriz: The IDF struck Iranian terror regime missile production sites and command centers 

The IDF continues to strike and damage the systems and capabilities of the Iranian terror regime.

Yesterday (Monday), Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wave of strikes on Iranian terror regime infrastructure in three different areas in Iran - Tehran, Shiraz, and Tabriz.

During the strikes in Tehran, dozens of munitions were dropped on command centers belonging to the Iranian regime's security bodies, including the Ministry of Intelligence and the Basij. Additionally, sites used to store and launch UAV's, ballistic missiles, and air defense systems were struck.

During the strikes in Shiraz, the internal security forces’ command center and a ballistic missile site were struck.

In Tabriz, additional Iranian terror regime air defense systems were dismantled - further expanding aerial superiority in the region and protecting the State of Israel.

The completed strikes are part of an ongoing effort focused on deepening the damage to the Iranian terror regime’s core systems and weakening its capacity to threaten the State of Israel.

IDF: In recent days, IDF troops from the 36th Division have begun limited and targeted ground operations  aimed at enhancing the forward defense area. 

Alongside the activity of the 91st Division, and following their previous deployment, the troops are continuing efforts to establish the forward defensive posture in order to remove threats and create an additional layer of security for residents of northern Israel.

Prior to the troops’ entry into the area, the IDF conducted strikes using both artillery and the Israeli Air Force against numerous Hezbollah terror targets in order to mitigate threats in the operational environment.
