IDF: Over 200 targets across western and central Iran were struck over the past day

The IDF continues to degrade the ballistic missiles array and the defense systems of the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran.

Over the past day, the IDF struck more than 200 targets belonging to the Iranian regime. Among the targets were command centers in which regime operatives were active, defense systems, and weapon storage and production sites.

IDF: As part of the forward defense posture, IDF troops eliminate terrorists in southern Lebanon.

Earlier this week, a terrorist cell was identified in the area in which IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon. After identification, the terrorists were eliminated in an aerial strike directed by the forces on the ground.

In addition, last night (Saturday), IDF troops operating in the area identified a surveillance post that was used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to monitor IDF soldiers in the area. The post was dismantled in a strike and rendered inoperable.

The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization following its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel.

IDF: Commander of the Home Front Command in Zarzir Local Council: “In recent days, we have been taking steps to improve and upgrade our alert systems in order to reduce the areas receiving preliminary alerts so that fewer people receive them unnecessarily”

The Commander of the Home Front Command, MG Shay Klapper, visited today (Sunday) the site of the fallen projectile in the Zarzir Local Council.

During his visit, he met with the head of the council and emphasized the importance of following the instructions of the Home Front Command, which saved lives at the site of the fallen projectile.

Remarks by the Commander of the Home Front Command, MG Shay Klapper:
“I am here in the Zarzir Local Council, in the area where the Iranian missile struck. This is a missile that hit near homes, and the damage was caused by the blast wave. This blast wave is lethal and extremely significant.

Most of the people who were saved were in a proper protected space. Those who were in a proper protected space were not harmed or injured. Those who were not in a proper protected space were injured — this underscores the importance of following the instructions and being in a proper protected space.

I would like to add that in recent days we have been taking steps to improve and upgrade our alert systems, with the aim of reducing the areas receiving preliminary alerts. Alongside this, we are working to refine the preliminary alert so that fewer people receive it unnecessarily.

I would also like to express tremendous appreciation to the emergency organizations and to the Search and Rescue troops of the Home Front Command, who are deployed nationwide and working around the clock, 24/7. We are in a prolonged operation; we will continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and demonstrate resilience and steadfastness.”

IDF: The IDF continues to eliminate operatives of the Iranian terror regime 

The IDF has released additional footage from western Iran.

The footage shows an Israeli Air Force aircraft, using precise real-time intelligence, identifying a UAV launch cell operating from a drone launch site in western Iran.

The aircraft struck the site and subsequently identified members of the launch cell fleeing from one of the structures.
Within seconds of their escape, the Israeli Air Force struck and eliminated the UAV launch cell.

The elimination of the cell was made possible due to the Israeli Air Force’s freedom of operation in western and central Iran, following strikes on hundreds of the regime’s air defense systems in these areas.

The IDF continues to operate to dismantle regime infrastructure and eliminate operatives from the ballistic missile and UAV arrays in western Iran, with the aim of reducing as much as possible the scope of fire directed toward the territory of the State of Israel.

IDF: The IDF completed a wave of strikes targeting Iranian regime headquarters in Hamedan, western Iran

Earlier today (Sunday), the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wave of strikes targeting the Iranian terror regime’s infrastructure in the area of Hamedan, western Iran.

The IDF struck several key headquarters belonging to the IRGC and the Basij Forces.

These headquarters served the regime’s bodies to manage the ongoing activities and to advance terror attacks against the State of Israel and additional countries across the Middle East.

The IDF is currently expanding the scope of its strikes against the infrastructure of the Iranian regime in additional areas in western and central Iran, with the aim of broadly and systematically degrading the regime’s command-and-control capabilities.

The completed strikes are part of an ongoing effort focused on deepening the damage to the core operational systems and foundations of the Iranian regime.

Joint IDF and ISA Announcement: 

The IDF and ISA eliminated a key Palestinian terrorist directed by the Iranian regime's intelligence

On Friday, in a joint IDF and ISA activity in Lebanon, Muhammad Majed Abd al-Salam Tawfiq Zidan was eliminated. He served as a key Palestinian terrorist who operated under the intelligence of the Iranian terror regime and attempted to advance terror attacks within the State of Israel. 

The Iranian regime continues to promote and direct terrorist activity against the State of Israel and IDF troops through intelligence activities and recruiting Palestinian terrorist operatives in Lebanon, including during Operation Roaring Lion. 

The IDF and ISA operate in order to thwart Iranian-directed terrorist attacks originating from Lebanese territory that are intended to target Israeli civilians and IDF troops, and to eliminate terrorists working on behalf of Iranian entities and their proxies.

The IDF and ISA view any involvement in Iranian-directed terrorist activity with the utmost severity and will continue to operate to thwart  any activities that endanger the State of Israel and its civilians.

IDF: As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the civilian early-warning system, the Home Front Command is upgrading the process for disseminating preliminary alerts regarding missile fire from distant arenas, through a more precise geographical distribution of early-warning zones.

This measure is intended to reduce the delivery of irrelevant early warnings to civilians and to help maintain an effective emergency routine for the population.

It is important to emphasize that there is no change to the existing civilian protection guidelines.

IDF: Watch the moments a UAV launch cell was eliminated in western Iran:

The IDF continues to strike the ballistic missile and UAV arrays of the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran.

As part of this effort, an Israeli Air Force aircraft, acting on precise and real-time IDF intelligence, identified a UAV launch cell operating from a hangar located within a UAV launch site in western Iran.

The aircraft struck the hangar and then identified the operatives of the launching cell fleeing the structure.

Within seconds of their escape, the Israeli Air Force carried out additional strikes and eliminated the UAV launch cell.

Their elimination was made possible due to the aerial superiority achieved by the Israeli Air Force in western and central Iran, following strikes on hundreds of the regime’s air defense systems in these areas, as well as ballistic missile launchers and additional infrastructure targeted since the start of the operation.

The IDF continues to operate to dismantle ballistic missile and UAV infrastructure in western Iran, in order to reduce as much as possible the scope of fire directed toward the territory of the State of Israel.

IDF: The IDF continues to strike Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon

Yesterday (Saturday), the IDF completed an additional wave of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure across Lebanon. 

As part of the strikes, the IDF struck several Hezbollah launch sites in the Al-Qatrani area, from which Hezbollah terrorists planned to launch rockets imminently. 

Additionally, the IDF struck and dismantled Hezbollah ‘Radwan Force’ command centers in Beirut, from which Hezbollah terrorists advanced terror attacks against the State of Israel and Israeli civilians. 

Since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion, IDF strikes in Lebanon have severely damaged the organization’s command and control capabilities, its financial capacity and the weapons in its possession.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization systematically embeds its infrastructure within the civilian population across Lebanon. This is another example of the organization’s cynical exploitation of Lebanese civilians for its terrorist activities.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance.

The IDF is operating decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in response to its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF will not allow harm to the residents of the State of Israel.
