A short while ago, the IDF completed several waves of strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut and southern Lebanon.

The IDF struck several Hezbollah command centers, from which Hezbollah terrorists operated to advance terror attacks against the State of Israel and its civilians.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization systematically embeds its infrastructure within the civilian population across Lebanon. This is another example of the organization’s cynical exploitation of Lebanese civilians for its terrorist activities.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance.

IDF: The Israeli Air Force struck Basij Force roadblocks and soldiers that were established recently in Tehran

Following the wide-scale degradation of many Iranian Security Internal and Basij Forces assets, the IDF recently identified that soldiers of the Basij Unit had established roadblocks in several locations across Tehran. 

After identifying the deployment, over the past day, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, has targeted the Basij roadblocks and operatives. 

These armed forces are part of the Iranian terrorist regime’s security apparatus and have been responsible for carrying out terror attacks for years.

These forces led the regime’s primary efforts to suppress internal protests, particularly in recent months, employing severe violence, mass arrests, and the use of force against civilian demonstrators.

The IDF will continue to degrade the Iranian terror regime's military systems and operatives anywhere they operate. 

These strikes are part of the ongoing goal of further damaging the Iranian regime’s core systems and foundations of the Iranian terrorist regime.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff at the Northern Command: “we make decisions every day, with the central consideration being the security of the state and its civilians”

“Out of the hundreds of launches fired last night, only two struck Israeli territory. Missile launchers were thwarted, terror infrastructure and headquarters were dismantled, and dozens of Hezbollah terrorists were struck and eliminated, including senior members of the Imam Hussein Division — this is a significant achievement”

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, visited the Northern Command today (Thursday) together with the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo, and additional commanders.

During the visit, the Chief of the General Staff conducted a situational assessment and received an operational briefing on developments in the Northern Command over the past several days.

The Chief of the General Staff instructed that additional troops be reinforced and deployed to the northern sector.

Remarks by the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir:
“We are in a multi-front war. We are operating simultaneously against Iran and its proxies and are acting with great determination against the evil regime. Every strike against Iran weakens all of its proxies. The defense against Hezbollah is another main front, not a secondary arena.

We make decisions every day, with the central consideration being the security of the state and its civilians. We are acting for the residents of the north and for their security. We will review and learn from the decisions made last night. If there was a mistake — the responsibility is first and foremost mine. We will draw lessons and learn.

Let there be no confusion — we are fighting absolute evil. Our enemies must not be allowed to weaken our morale* We will continue to act in the north with determination and reinforce the troops. Hezbollah made a serious mistake and will continue to pay a heavy price for it. The Government of Lebanon is not enforcing its authority within its territory — therefore we will do so.

Out of the hundreds of launches fired last night, only two struck Israeli territory — this is a very significant achievement.

The activity of the Northern Command, the early preparations, and the decisive action led to excellent results: dozens of terrorists were eliminated, most of the missile launchers were thwarted after they fired, and we struck dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites at the heart of terror in Beirut.

In addition, we succeeded in locating and striking and eliminating the commander of the Imam Hussein Division and his deputy, along with many of the division’s staff officers. Following the strike in the Dahieh area, many Hezbollah terrorists began fleeing to other hiding places in Beirut, within the civilian population.

We will continue to defend our civilians everywhere and from everywhere.

We reinforced the Northern Command with many hundreds of additional troops and intelligence officers, as well as intelligence collection and fire capabilities. They are achieving remarkable and impressive results, and I have great appreciation for them and their achievements.

This operation will not be short. We will bring additional troops and capabilities to the north. We will continue to act with great determination. We continue moving forward.”

IDF: The IDF eliminated Iranian Imam Hossein Division commanders in Lebanon

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, guided by IDF intelligence, struck and eliminated the terrorist Ali Muslim Tabaja, a commander of the Iranian Imam Hossein Division. Additional senior commanders were also eliminated.

The Imam Hussein Division is a military force used by the Iranian Quds Force to strengthen the Iranian axis and to operate against the IDF and Israeli civilians. 

The division is composed of thousands of terrorists across the Middle East and it serves as a force-employment method, providing Hezbollah with significant capabilities.

During Operations Roaring Lion and Northern Arrows, the division took an active part in the fighting, carrying out multiple terrorist attack plans from Lebanese territory in coordination with the Hezbollah terrorist organization. This included the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missile fire toward communities in northern Israel.

Tabaja served as a senior commander in operating against the State of Israel. He was a key figure within the division and for the Hezbollah terrorist organization. He has joined the Hezbollah terrorist organization and, over the years, held a series of military roles both within Hezbollah and within the division, including serving as the deputy commander of the division.

Tabaja was appointed as the division’s commander following the elimination of previous commander, Dhu al-Fiqar in Operation Northern Arrows. In addition, he was involved in the process of rebuilding the Hezbollah terrorist organization and maintained ongiong contact with senior members of the axis and Iranian officials.

Additional terrorists were also eliminated in the same strike, including Jihad al-Safira, the Deputy Commander of the Imam Hussein Division, Sager al-Handasa, the division’s UAV officer, and additional senior commanders in the division.

IDF: A short while ago, two terrorists attempted to carry out a combined ramming and shooting attack against IDF soldiers in the area of the Tapuach Junction.

IDF: Decision of the Military Advocate General to Order the Withdrawal of an Indictment:
 
In light of significant developments that have occurred since the filing of the indictment concerning an alleged conduct that took place in the "Sde Teiman" detention facility, and exceptional circumstances that negatively affected the ability to prosecute the case while also preserving the right for a fair trial of the defendants in the case, the Military Advocate General found it necessary to order today (Thursday) the withdrawal of the indictment against the five defendants.
 
The decision was taken following an examination of all considerations, evidence, and relevant circumstances, including the following:
 
1. The complexity regarding the existing evidentiary basis;
2. Extremely exceptional and unprecedented circumstances due to conduct by certain senior officials in the Military Advocate General's Corps in this affair;
3. Difficulty to transfer certain relevant investigation materials from the Israeli police’s investigation, which infringes the rights of the defendants.
4. The fact that the former security detainee in question is currently present in the Gaza Strip and the implications this has on the evidentiary basis, added to the existing complexity.
 
The MAG’s professional decision is that the accumulation of all these exceptional circumstances, and their effect on the basic rights of the defendants, necessitate the withdrawl of the indictment.
 
A core mission of the Military Advocate General's (MAG) Corps is to enforce the law and holding accountable those who violate it. The MAG Corps will continue to pursue this mission professionally and independently.
 
The Chief of the General Staff was updated regarding the decision.
 
The Chief of the General Staff instructed to draw lessons and to take all the requested steps to prevent similar cases in the continuation.
 
The Chief of the General Staff emphasized that the professional independence of the Military Advocate General's Corps is a foundational principle in the IDF and he strengthens those serving in the Military Advocate General's Corps, who act with professionalism, with dedication, and tirelessly in order to enable the IDF to achieve its goals and to execute its missions while upholding the law, including in these days of fighting.

IDF: The IDF has dismantled over 250 Iranian aircraft and hundreds of launchers

After seriously damaging the Iranian terror regime's missile array, over the past few days the IDF has expanded its strikes on the regime’s UAV array. 

During one of the waves of strikes, the Israeli Air Force identified operatives from the regime’s UAV array as they were arming an aircraft and preparing to launch it toward the State of Israel.

After quickly closing the loop, the Israeli Air Force targeted the launcher and its operatives, preventing a planned UAV launch toward the State of Israel.

So far, the IDF has dismantled over 250 UAVs across Iran. In addition, many UAV array commanders and operatives responsible for numerous launches toward the State of Israel were eliminated. 

The IDF continues to operate around the clock to dismantle infrastructure and eliminate operatives related to the Iranian regime’s ballistic missiles and UAV array in western Iran in order to reduce the scope of fire toward Israeli territory.

IDF: The IDF eliminated the Hezbollah's 'Radwan Force' southern Lebanon unit commander in southern Lebanon

So far, over 100 terrorists were eliminated, and more than 60 'Radwan Force' command and control centers were dismantled

Last Saturday in a strike in the Harouf area, the IDF targeted Abu Ali Riyan, the commander of the 'Radwan Force' unit in southern Lebanon. 

Riyan was the Radwan Force Combat Commander in southern Lebanon/ He was the central figure responsible for coordinating operations, recruiting operatives, and managing its weapon supply chain.

The ‘Radwan Force' unit, which is responsible for Hezbollah's raids and serves as a central offensive and propaganda tool for the organization, has been a core target of the IDF's efforts to further degrade the Hezbollah terrorist organization. In addition to the elimination of senior commanders in the 'Radwan Force' unit, over 100 terrorists have been eliminated, and over 60 unit command centers have been dismantled.

IDF: The IDF eliminated the operations commander who operated in the IRGC’s Missile Unit within the Hezbollah terrorist organization

Earlier this week (Tuesday), the IDF struck and eliminated the terrorist Abu Dharr Mohammadi, the operations commander in the IRGC’s missile unit within Hezbollah in Beirut.

Mohammadi was a central figure in the military coordination between Hezbollah and the Iranian terror regime, while coordinating and connecting between Hezbollah and Iranian senior officials. 

Likewise, Mohammadi was a key figure in Hezbollah’s military force build-up as it related to missiles, focusing on rehabilitating the program following Operation Northern Arrows. 

He also served as an authority on the subject of Hezbollah’s strategic weapons.

As part of his role, Mohammadi led the planning and operations processes of Hezbollah’s missile branch, supporting the planning of missile launches toward the State of Israel during Operation Northern Arrows and Roaring Lion.

IDF: The IDF struck an additional Iranian regime central nuclear weapon development compound

As part of the waves of strikes completed in the past days in Tehran, the Israeli Air Force, acting on precise IDF intelligence, struck an additional Iranian nuclear program site. The ‘Taleghan’ compound was utilized by the regime to advance critical capabilities for developing nuclear weapons. 

In recent years, the compound was utilized to develop advanced explosives and to conduct sensitive experiments as part of the ‘AMAD’ project, the covert nuclear weapon development program in the 2000s.

During Operation Rising Lion, the IDF has operated systematically against knowledge centers and infrastructure related to the Iranian nuclear weapon program in order to eliminate the emerging existential threat to the State of Israel. Despite the significant damage inflicted on the program, the Iranian regime has continued efforts to advance and develop capabilities required for the development of a nuclear weapon.

As such, the IDF has recently identified that the regime has taken steps to rehabilitate the compound after it was struck in October 2024.

The strike on the ‘Talghan’ compound joins other strikes related to eliminating the Iranian nuclear weapon threat, including the March 3, 2026 strike on the ‘Minzadehei’ compound.

The strike is a part of the series of operations carried out throughout Operation Rising Lion aimed at further damaging the Iranian terrorist regime’s nuclear aspirations.

The IDF continues to conduct extensive waves of strikes from the air and sea in the Beirut area against the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Among the targets struck were terrorist infrastructure, weapons storage facilities, central headquarters, and the IRGC Air Force headquarters in Beirut.

So far, approximately 70 terrorist targets have been struck in the Beirut area, including buildings that were used by Hezbollah for terrorist purposes.

Over the past week, the IDF evacuated residents from the Dahieh district, in order to ensure their safety.

During the strikes, several key terrorists in the area were eliminated, including:
 • Adham Adnan al-Othman, commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the Lebanon arena.
 • Zaid Ali Juma, responsible for managing the firepower array of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and the artillery commander in southern Lebanon.
 • Five senior commanders in the Lebanon Corps and Palestine Corps of the IRGC’s Quds Force.

Troops of the “Mountains” Brigade (810), under the command of the 210th Division, are operating at several locations in the Mount Dov area in southern Lebanon.

Over the past hours, the IDF has begun a wide-scale wave of strikes targeting terror infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization across Lebanon.

As part of the strikes, the IDF located and dismantled dozens of launchers which were ready to launch and neutralized dozens of Hezbollah operatives while they were preparing to launch toward the State of Israel.

Simultaneously, the IDF struck 10 terror structures in the Dahieh area within 30 minutes, including intelligence headquarters, a headquarters of the Radwan unit, and additional command centers.

Moreover, the Israeli Air Force, guided by ground troops, struck more than 20 targets.
