Dozens of Fighter Jets Completed Additional Waves of Strikes in Tehran and Western Iran

Dozens of fighter jets, acting on IDF intelligence, completed wide-scale strikes on infrastructure sites belonging to the Iranian terror regime in Tehran and additional areas in Iran. 

During the wave of strikes, fighter jets identified operatives of the Iranian regime operating within a command center used by the IRGC in the heart of Tehran. Within seconds of the identification, the jets struck and eliminated the operatives. 

Moreover, the IDF struck additional infrastructure sites in Tehran, including: 
* Command centers and situation rooms used by the IRGC's airforce. 
* A compound established in the heart of the central military university of the IRGC ('Imam Hussein'), used by the regime's operatives to oversee the campaign and conduct meetings. 
* Sites used to store and manufacture ballistic misssiles prepared for launch, as well as missiles designated to harm Israeli aircraft operating in Tehran. 

Simultaneously, command centers and military bases of the Internal Security and Basij forces, along with a command center of the Iranian regime's Ministry of Intelligence, were struck. 

The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence also serves as the central body of the Iranian regime used to monitor the activities of Iranian citizens. Members of the ministry provided intelligence that enabled the violent suppression of protests over the years.

The strikes completed are part of the ongoing phase aimed at deepening the damage to the core of the operational arrays and foundational capabilities of the Iranian regime.

“Good evening. We are currently in the midst of the twelfth day of Operation Roaring Lion, an operation with the objective to seriously degrade the Iranian regime and its military capabilities.

This operation is intended to secure our future in the State of Israel while reducing damage to Israel’s home front. First, I would like to open by expressing deep appreciation to the citizens of the State of Israel for the steadfastness and resilience you are demonstrating. It must be said that we went through a challenging night with several sirens.

The citizens of Israel in general, and the residents of the north with whom I speak to now, have gone through a challenging and complex two and a half years. 

The Home Front Command is deployed nationwide and operates in cooperation with all emergency organizations, including the Israel Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Magen David Adom, and the local authorities. As part of this effort, I traveled north today to meet with local authorities and engage with both leadership and the public.

I met responsible, professional, and courageous leadership that demonstrates extraordinary resilience. I am aware of the challenges that the current security reality places before us. I would like to address defensive policy and the sirens.

When there is a threat from the third circle, (not along Israel’s borders) such as Iran, there is more time to provide an early warning instruction before the siren is sounded. When the threat comes from Lebanon, the time available is shorter. I want to tell you that the IDF possesses some of the most advanced and leading defense systems in the world.

At the same time, these defense systems are not hermetic. Therefore, following the Home Front Command’s instructions and entering protected spaces is extremely important. The IDF is operating 24/7 to further degrade the Iranian regime and its military capabilities, both ballistic and nuclear.

The IDF is also operating significantly on the northern front. I know, residents of the north, that with the renewal of fighting on the northern front, feelings of discomfort and uncertainty have resurfaced. At the same time, I want to say that the IDF is beyond the border, defending the residents of the north and operating to directly and significantly weaken Hezbollah.

From here, I want to say that in the Home Front Command, we assess the defensive policy every day, with the central consideration being the safety of Israel’s civilians, alongside maintaining the continuity and functioning of the Israeli economy and the education systems.

From here, I would like to wish a full recovery to the wounded and express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who have lost what is most precious to them. Citizens of Israel, your resilience and steadfastness are important to us in achieving victory.”

IDF: IDF troops are conducting targeted raids in southern Lebanon as part of the IDF’s forward defensive posture in the area. 

As part of the operation, the troops identified terrorists entering a structure adjacent to them. Following the identification, the Israeli Air Force, guided by the ground troops, eliminated the terrorists.

Additionally, during these targeted raids, IDF troops located numerous weapons, including rifles, magazines, vests, and the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s flag. 

The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization following its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel.

IDF: “There’s an explosion, the target is down”: The Israeli Air Force continues intercepting UAVs launched toward Israel from Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force continues to operate to protect Israel’s airspace using fighter jets and combat helicopters, successfully intercepting unmanned aerial vehicles launched toward the State of Israel from Lebanon.

Since the beginning of the operation, dozens of UAVs launched from Lebanon toward Israeli territory have been intercepted.

During the visit, the Chief of the General Staff spoke with aircrew personnel.

From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir:

“We are engaged in an operation that is further degrading the Iranian regime and its foundations, and pushing the threat further away. So far we have eliminated many thousands of the regime’s operatives and commanders. We will continue to degrade the  terror regime and its military capabilities.

From here I also say to all our enemies—no one is immune. We know how to reach anyone who attempts to harm the citizens of the State of Israel.

We continue to strike and weaken the terror axis—from the head in Tehran to its central arm in Beirut. The Hezbollah terrorist organization is paying the price for standing alongside Iran. We will not give up on disarming the terrorist organization —this operation will help us accelerate that process.

Above all, even in this operation  we see that the strength of the IDF lies first and foremost in its people. The soldiers, pilots, ground crews, and support units—you operate with determination, with national pride, and with an understanding of the magnitude of this moment. You are achieving results that few armies in the world knows how to achieve. I am proud of you and proud of the entire IDF.”

IDF: Following a Situational Assessment: The Chief of the General Staff Instructs to reinforce the Northern Command sector and to Transition the Golani Brigade from the Southern Command to Operations in the Northern Command sector

The Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, held a situational assessment today (Wednesday) with additional commanders following recent developments in Operation “Roaring Lion.”

The Chief of the General Staff instructed to reinforce the Northern Command sector and to transition the Golani Brigade to operations from the Southern Command to Operations in the Northern Command sector.

Subsequently, and in accordance with the situational assessment, a decision will be made regarding additional reinforcements.

The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization as a result of the terrorist organization's decision to deliberately attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime, and will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel.

IDF: The IDF completed an additional wave of strikes in Beirut

This morning (Wednesday), the IDF completed an additional wave of strikes in Dahieh, Beirut, targeting Hezbollah terrorist command centers and facilities where the Hezbollah terrorist organization stored weapons.

Additionally, the IDF struck yesterday (Tuesday) a Hezbollah terrorist organization command center in the area of Tyre in Lebanon.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance.

The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization as a result of the terrorist organization's decision to deliberately attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime, and will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel.

IDF: The IDF eliminated launch cell operatives - minutes before they launched UAVs from Iran toward Israel

On Monday, the Israeli Air Force identified several operatives from the Iranian terror regime UAV array at a launch site in Western Iran.

Following the identification, Israeli Air Force aircraft eliminated several operatives in the cell following their entry to the launch site with the intent to launch UAVs toward Israeli territory.

The IDF continues to operate around the clock to dismantle the ballistic missile infrastructure and forces in Western Iran in order to reduce, to the extent possible, the scope of missile fire toward Israeli territory.
