ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR: NORTHERN GAZA
The IDF’s operations in northern Gaza, across key urban areas including Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Jabaliya (East, West, Central, and Village), Shejaiya, Daraj Tufah, and Zeitoun, revealed the vast scale of Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure embedded within civilian areas and their systematic use of human shields.
Across these cities, intelligence and operational findings identified thousands of terrorists, hundreds of kilometers of interconnected tunnels, and thousands of tunnel entrances hidden beneath homes, schools, and mosques.
IDF forces also uncovered thousands of land mines, as well as missile-launch and storage sites.
These findings demonstrated how deeply Hamas has entrenched its terror infrastructure in northern Gaza, turning densely populated neighborhoods into terrorist strongholds designed to endanger civilians and impede Israel’s defensive operations.
