Head of the International Law Disivion – Brigadier General Roni Katzir

Brigadier General Katzir has served in the MAG Corps since 2001. During his service, he has held several positions, including Senior Legal Advisor in the Legislation and Legal Advice Department, Senior Aide to the Military Advocate General, Head of the Operational Law Branch and later Head of the International Affairs Branch in the International Law Division. He served during Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012, Operation Protective Edge in 2014, and Operation Guardian of the Walls in 2021.

Brigadier General Katzir holds an LL.M., an LL.B., and a B.A. in accounting, all with Honors, from Tel Aviv University. He is also a graduate of the “Afek” Command and Staff Course.
