Legal Rights and Representation

Soldiers and officers have the right to legal advice and representation throughout legal proceedings in the military justice system. Any soldier or officer may request to consult with a lawyer from the Military Defense free of charge, at any stage during a criminal investigation or hearing before the Military Courts.
