Legal Proceedings Initiated to Confiscate Vessels Intercepted During the Attempted Breach of the Gaza Maritime Blockade

In recent years, several attempts have been made to breach the maritime blockade on the Gaza Strip, which is enforced in accordance with international law. As part of the “Sumud 2026” flotilla, the Israeli Navy captured several vessels that attempted to breach the blockade, acting under its authority according to international law.

The State of Israel intends to confiscate the vessels through prize proceedings before the Haifa Admiralty Court.

The names of the vessels the State will seek to confiscate as part of the legal proceedings are:
