Hamas' Brutality
Hamas’ brutality extends beyond its attacks on Israel. Through units like the Arrow Unit, it rules Gaza with fear, violently silencing and punishing any Palestinian who dares to oppose its control.
The Arrow Unit, with an estimated 1,000 members within Hamas’ internal security apparatus, does not engage external enemies but instead targets anyone who dares to challenge Hamas' authority. Its primary function is not to defend territorial borders but to maintain the regime’s grip on power by silencing opposition from within.
The unit’s mission is unequivocal: identify opposition and suppress it by any means necessary. The Arrow Unit’s activities are marked by brutality, with videos depicting masked operatives arresting, assaulting, and even executing Palestinians on the streets of Gaza. These public acts of violence are intended to instill widespread fear among the population, serving as stark warnings against anyone who speaks out.
The October 7 Massacre revealed Hamas’ capacity for orchestrating mass violence against Israelis; however, the same mechanisms of control, discipline, and violence are systematically turned inward to suppress Palestinians who oppose the regime.
The Arrow Unit is not a conventional security force but a tool of internal repression, a weapon of terror wielded to maintain Hamas’ dominance at the devastating expense of its own people.
