IDF: IDF Inquiry Concludes: Yesterday’s incident in which UNIFIL troops were injured was not caused by IDF activity

Over the past day, the IDF completed its review of the incident yesterday (Monday), in which it was reported that UNIFIL troops were injured by the explosion of an explosive device in the Bani Haiyyan area in southern Lebanon. A comprehensive operational examination indicates that no explosive device was placed in the area by IDF troops, and that no IDF troops were present in the area at all.

The IDF is operating against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, and not against UNIFIL, the Lebanese Armed Forces, or Lebanese civilians. The IDF calls on UNIFIL to avoid presence in combat zones where the IDF has issued warnings to the civilian population to evacuate for their safety.

IDF: IDF soldiers from the 146th Division eliminated a cell of terrorists right after they launched a drone at them in southern Lebanon 

Yesterday (Monday), during targeted ground activity in southern Lebanon, IDF soldiers eliminated Hezbollah terrorists who launched a UAV at them and moderately injured three soldiers.

The injured IDF soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment and their families were notified. 

The IDF will continue to operate decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization after it chose to join the hostilities and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not allow harm to be caused to Israeli civilians.

IDF: Over the last 24 hours, the IDF completed a wave of strikes targeting 20 weapon manufacturing sites and a research and development site

Early this morning, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF Intelligence, completed an additional strike wave targeting Iranian regime infrastructure across Tehran.

In this wave, the IDF continued its core effort to further degrade military manufacturing industries. Over 80 munitions were used on regime infrastructure, including: a site used for manufacturing critical components for ballistic missile engines, a site used for testing ballistic missile engines, and an air defense systems manufacturing site.

In parallel, the IDF struck additional infrastructure in the IRGC’s main naval headquarters as well as other ballistic missile launch and storage sites and defense system sites. 

The IDF continues to further degrade the regime’s military industries to deny the production capabilities it has built over many years.

IDF: Following the Fall of Four Troops in Southern Lebanon, Nahal Brigade Commander to His Troops: “Yesterday, during an encounter with terrorists, we lost four of our finest. We set out on this operation to defend the residents of the north, to fight the enemy, and to remove the threat from the northern communities”

During the encounter last night (Monday), troops from the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit engaged in close combat with a terrorist cell that opened fire at the troops.
The troops returned fire, and with the assistance of aerial support and tank fire, the terrorists were struck and eliminated.

During the encounter, four soldiers were killed and three were injured.

The IDF will continue to operate against the Hezbollah terrorist organization as part of efforts to ensure the security of Israeli civilians.

IDF: Yesterday (Monday), the IDF eliminated Ibrahim al-Khaldi, a terrorist from the Hamas naval force, in the area of Nuseirat. Al-Khaldi has functioned as a source of expertise, while planning and advancing maritime terror attacks against IDF troops from the Gaza Strip.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF: IDF soldiers of the 146 Division located dozens of rocket launchers loaded and ready-to-launch towatd the State of Israel

Since the beginning of operation Roaring Lion, more than 180 launchers were struck across Lebanon

During an activity of soldiers of the 146th Division, dozens of loaded rocket launchers ready to launch toward the State of Israel were located in the Ramiyah area of southern Lebanon. Shortly after, the rockets and the launchers were dismantled. 

The soldiers located a rocket launcher that fired rockets toward the communities of northern Israel earlier today, and dismantled it from the air. 

Moreover, the soldiers, along with the Israeli Air Force, dismantled dozens of terror infrastructure sites, including anti-tank missile launching posts, observation posts, underground tunnel shafts, weapon storage facilities, and operational apartments. 

IDF soldiers are doing everything possible in order to reduce rocket fire attacks toward the State of Israel and the communities of northern Israel in particular, a mission which is of the highest priority.

In recent days, the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, hosted the Commander of CENTCOM, Admiral Brad Cooper.

During the visit, the commanders spoke about the importance of cooperation between the two militaries in the operation against the Iranian regime and coordinated the next steps. 

The Chief of the General Staff expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the joint operations and emphasized that the cooperation between the two militaries is unprecedented and essential.

From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: “The IDF and the United States Armed Forces operate based on shared interests and values, fighting shoulder to shoulder - we are true partners. Through synchronized and coordinated action, together we are striking the Iranian terror regime and making it both strategically isolated and weaker than it has ever been before. I maintain close, daily contact with my close partners in the United States Armed Forces as part of the execution of the operation. There is a shared interest here - a commitment to removing an existential threat from Israel and from the entire region. 

These are historic days, which were planned with precision. Our intelligence, aerial defense, logistics and additional units are operating day and night together with their counterparts in the U.S. Armed Forces. IDF Reveals: The Hezbollah Terrorist Organization Has Seized Control of the Christian Village of Qawzah and Began Launching Terror Attacks from Within It

According to declassified IDF intelligence, Hezbollah has seized control of the village of Qawzah in southern Lebanon and has begun launching terror attacks from within the village. This includes rocket and missiles launches as well as anti-tank fire.

In recent months, the IDF has identified that Hezbollah is strategically embedding itself in Christian villages and executing terror attacks from them, assuming  that operating from these areas grants it protection it from IDF strikes.

This is not the first time the IDF has exposed how Hezbollah exploits Christian villages as human shields. Earlier this week, the IDF revealed Hezbollah activity and terrorist infrastructure beneath a church in a southern Lebanon village.

Hezbollah’s activity from within civilian areas endangers the local residents. The terrorist organization has dragged the State of Lebanon into war on behalf of the Iranian terror regime, choosing terrorism over prosperity.

The IDF emphasizes that its operations are directed against terrorist threats, and will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel, while taking all possible measures to mitigate harm to civilians.

IDF: Overnight, the IDF completed another wave of strikes against weapon production sites in Tehran.

The Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF Intelligence, completed an additional wave of strikes against Iranian terror regime infrastructure.

Targets struck included:
- A facility used for casting and filling ballistic missile warheads to launch at the State of Israel.
- A ballistic missiles component research and development site.

IDF: The 36th Division has been operating for several weeks in southern Lebanon.

Over the past day, dozens of terrorists were eliminated after being identified attempting to carry out ambushes in southern Lebanon. One of the terrorists was identified armed with an RPG while preparing to fire toward IDF soldiers, and was eliminated prior to carrying out the attack. In addition, the troops apprehended a Hezbollah terrorist who was observing the soldiers. The terrorist was transferred for further questioning.

The troops dismantled weapon storage facilities in which numerous weapon caches were located, command centers, and a launcher that had fired toward Israeli territory. Among the weapons located were military vests, helmets, and a loaded RPG. 

The IDF will continue to operate decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which has chosen to join the hostilities and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to Israeli civilians.

IDF: The IDF is aware of the reports regarding two incidents in which UNIFIL soldiers were harmed in Lebanon over the past two days. 

The incidents are being thoroughly reviewed in order to clarify the circumstances and determine whether they resulted from Hezbollah activity or from IDF activity.

It should be noted these incidents occurred in an active combat area. Therefore, it should not be assumed that incidents in which UNIFIL soldiers were harmed were caused by the IDF.

The IDF is operating against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, and not against UNIFIL, LAF, or the people of Lebanon.
