IDF: 91st Division Soldiers continue targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon. 

During an activity to locate weapons in southern Lebanon, IDF troops identified several armed Hezbollah Radwan Force terrorists who were planning to fire an anti-tank missile at the troops and to establish an anti-tank missile vantage point to target at communities in northern Israel. 

After being identified, the terrorists surrendered. They were apprehended by the troops and transferred to Israeli territory for further questioning. A large amount of weapons and gear were found on them.  The terrorists surrendered due to the expanded IDF activity focused on eliminating terrorist infrastructure in the area.

Initial investigations indicate that the terrorists went from the Beqaa area to southern Lebanon in the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion. This directly contradicts the Lebanese Armed Forces’ claim of attaining operational control of the area south of the Litani River and underscores the Lebanese Armed Forces’ failure to prevent the presence of terrorist operatives and weapons from the area - a blatant violation of the agreement. 

The IDF is operating decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in response to its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF acts to remove threats to civilians of the State of Israel.

IDF: The IDF struck a main IRGC headquarters established in civilian infrastructure 

As part of a wave of strikes that was completed a short while ago in the heart of Tehran, the Israeli Air Force, guided by IDF intelligence, struck the IRGC’s main security headquarters. 

The headquarter was used by the IRGC to synchronize unit activities and to conduct situational assessments. It was also responsible for directing the Basij Battalions.  The Basij Forces are part of the IRGC’s Armed Forces and have been responsible for the execution of terror attacks for years. The forces led the suppression of internal protests in Iran, including the recent protests, with the use of severe violence, arrests, and physical force.

Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence. 

The strike on the headquarter is part of the current operational phase aimed at further degrading core Iranian terror regime systems and security capabilities. 

The completed strikes are part of the effort to further deepen the damage to the Iranian terror regime.

IDF:The IDF struck several Iranian terror regime headquarters as part of a wide-scale wave of strikes in Tehran overnight

The IDF continues to further degrade Iranian regime military systems and capabilities.

Dozens of IAF fighter jets, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wide-scale wave of strikes on Iranian regime infrastructure in the area of Tehran.

During the strikes, the IDF targeted several Iranian regime security organization headquarters and bases, as well as key weapons manufacturing sites. Over one hundred munitions were used in the strikes. Sites included:

* A Quds Force base used as a command post for coordinating and overseeing IRGC intelligence and operational activity
* An IRGC aerial defense headquarters
* An IRGC Ground Forces headquarters. This site was established in a large military compound in the heart of Tehran. Several headquarters in the compound were struck before. 
* A Quds Force intelligence headquarters
* An Iranian Ministry of Defense naval cruise missile manufacturing site
* Additional manufacturing sites and research facilities related to electronics, ballistic missiles, and warheads.

IDF: Yesterday (Sunday), IDF troops identified a cell of armed Hamas terrorists in an SUV in the central Gaza Strip. 

Following the identification, the IDF eliminated the armed terrorists in order to remove the threat

Prior to the strike, steps were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians. This included the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence. 

IDF Southern Command troops remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF soldiers continue targeted ground activity aimed at enhancing the forward defense area in southern Lebanon.

Yesterday (Sunday), IDF soldiers located an anti-tank missile post and weapons in southern Lebanon.

IDF: Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo, at the inquiry following the fire toward Misgav Am, in which an Israeli civilian was killed: “This is a very severe incident. Ofer (‘Poshko’) Moskovitz was killed by our own forces’ fire during an operation whose entire purpose was to protect them.”

Yesterday (Sunday), Ofer (‘Poshko’) Moskovitz was killed as a result of a fire toward Misgav Am. During the evening, an inquiry regarding the incident was conducted, headed by the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo, and several additional senior commanders. 

The initial findings suggest that the Israeli civilian was killed by IDF artillery fire conducted to support IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. His family has been notified. 

The Commander of the Northern Command concluded that several severe issues and operational errors took place during the incident, including both the planning and execution of the fire. The artillery fire was carried out at an incorrect angle and did not follow required protocols. As a result, five artillery shells were fired at the Misgav Am ridge instead of toward the enemy target. 

The conclusions of the inquiry will be drawn and reviewed by all of the relevant bodies. 

The IDF expresses its regret over the incident and extends its deep condolences to the Moskovitz family and the Misgav Am community at this difficult time. 

The IDF will conduct a thorough inquiry and will transfer the findings in a transparent manner to the family and then to the public.
