Joint IDF and Israel Police Announcement:

Throughout the evening (Sunday), IDF soldiers, Israel Border Police, and Israel Police forces were dispached following reports received regarding a violent assault, arson, and public disturbances carried out by Israeli civilians in different locations across Judea and Samaria.

Upon arrival, the forces operated to restore order and conducted searches for suspects.

As part of the forces’ activities, a suspected vehicle near the Deir al-Hatab area was inspected, in which weapons were located and confiscated.

Five Israeli civilians were apprehended by the Israel Border Patrol and transferred to the Israel Police for further questioning.

In another incident in the Yitzhar area, a number of Israeli civilians attacked Israeli security forces who operated in the area in order to restore the order. During the incident, an Israel Border Police soldier was injured, and damage was caused to a security forces’ vehicle.

As a result of these incidents, a number of Palestinian civilians were injured and evacuated to receive medical treatment.

Security forces have been deployed since the afternoon along roads and at friction points in order to maintain order and security. At the same time, they are operating with zero tolerance toward violent extremists who disrupt public order.

The IDF and Israel Police view such violence with severity and strongly condemn any form of violence that undermines security in the region.

IDF: Today (Sunday), the IDF struck a crossing over the Litani River that was used by Hezbollah terrorists to maneuver from north to south of the Litani River in Lebanon.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization used this crossing to transfer thousands of weapons, rockets, and rocket launchers, which were used to carry out terror attacks from the southern Litani area against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.

The crossing was struck in order to prevent harm to Israeli civilians, as well as to Lebanese civilians.

In an additional wave of strikes today in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon, approximately 15 Hezbollah command centers were struck.

The IDF is operating decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in response to its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF acts to remove threats to civilians of the State of Israel.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff Approved Plans Yesterday for Continued Operations in the Northern Command: “The operation against the Hezbollah terrorist organization has only begun - at the conclusion of the operation in Iran, Hezbollah will remain alone and isolated. The operation against Hezbollah is a prolonged one, and we are prepared for it”

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, approved plans yesterday (Saturday) for the advancement of targeted ground operations in Lebanon, together with the General Staff forum, division commanders, and brigade commanders operating in the northern arena. The Chief of the General Staff expressed great appreciation for the commanders for their actions and the achievements they have attained in recent weeks.

From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: “Iran is our primary effort, and the northern arena is an additional central arena. They are interconnected. The Hezbollah terrorist organization is a central proxy of the Iranian terror regime and made a grave mistake when it chose to join the campaign against Israel. This decision harms both the terrorist organization and the State of Lebanon as a whole.

The message is clear: there is no safe haven for the regime and its proxies. Any threat to the civilians of the State of Israel will be met with a determined, precise, and powerful response.

In recent weeks, we have achieved significant accomplishments: we have struck more than 2,000 targets, dozens of weapons storage facilities, and struck and eliminated hundreds of terrorists. The operation against the Hezbollah terrorist organization has only begun - at the conclusion of the operation in Iran, Hezbollah will remain alone and isolated. This is a prolonged operation, and we are prepared for it.

We are now preparing to advance the targeted ground operations and strikes, according to an organized plan. We will not stop until the threat is pushed away from the border and long-term security is ensured for the residents of northern Israel. Alongside the strikes, the IDF is strengthening the forward defense posture in order to protect the residents of northern Israel.

IDF: IDF completes wave of strikes targeting key regime capabilities: Weapons production sites and headquarters struck in Tehran

The IDF continues to deepen its operational impact on the military systems and capabilities of the Iranian terror regime.

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wide-scale wave of strikes on infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terror regime in the area of Tehran.

As part of the strikes, the IDF targeted sites used by security bodies subordinate to the Iranian regime for the production and storage of weapons. Among the sites targeted:

* An Iranian military base used for training soldiers and storing missile systems intended to target aircraft
* A weapons production and storage facility of the Ministry of Defense
* A weapons production site of the IRGC’s Air Force

In parallel, the IDF struck an additional headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and the emergency headquarters center of the Internal Security Forces.

The completed strikes are part of the current operational phase aimed at further degrading the core systems and foundations of the Iranian terror regime.

IDF: Activity of the National Search and Rescue Unit During Operation Roaring Lion

The National Search and Rescue Unit, a reserve unit of the Home Front Command, specializes in rescuing trapped individuals from disaster sites and operates at destruction sites in Israel and around the world.

As part of Operation Roaring Lion, the unit’s troops arrived at all impact sites and operated to rescue trapped individuals and clear the destroyed sites.

In parallel, the unit conducts examinations of the impact sites and carries out training exercises adapted to the evolving situation on the ground and the range of challenges, in order to maintain optimal readiness to save lives across different arenas.

Yesterday (Saturday), the Israeli Air Force struck and killed the terrorist Abu Khalil Barji, Commander of the Special Forces in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, along with two other terrorists in the area of Majdal Selm in southern Lebanon.

Barji had served for years as a commander in the Radwan Force and recently commanded its special forces, which were responsible, among other roles, for attacking IDF troops. Alongside Barji, two additional Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated.

Additionally, last night, the IDF struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in various areas across southern Lebanon.

IDF: The Israeli Air Force and soldiers of the 91st Division eliminated nine Hezbollah terrorists during operations in southern Lebanon

IDF soldiers continue targeted ground activity aimed at enhancing the forward defense area in southern Lebanon.

Last night (Saturday), several armed terrorists were identified approaching the area in which IDF soldiers were operating in southern Lebanon. In response, ground forces engaged to remove the threat, while the Israeli Air Force, directed by the ground troops, struck the terrorists and eliminated them. 

No IDF injuries were reported.

Joint IDF and ISA Announcement: 

 The IDF and ISA eliminated a senior terrorist in Hamas’ financial array in Lebanon

This week, the IDF, acting on ISA intelligence, conducted a targeted strike and eliminated the terrorist Walid Muhammad Dib in Lebanon, who served as a senior official in Hamas’ financial network who operated to fund the terrorist organization’s military activities in Lebanon.

As part of his role, Dib was responsible for transferring funds to the different departments of Hamas in Judea and Samaria, in Lebanon, and in additional countries. Moreover, Dib was responsible for recruiting operatives and directing terrorist activity from Syria and Lebanon.

His elimination adds to a series of strikes carried out against the funding sources of terrorist organizations since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion.

The IDF and ISA will continue to operate with determination against the terrorist organizations in Lebanon, and will remove threats posed to the civilians of the State of Israel.

IDF: The 36th Division continues targeted ground operations toward key objectives in southern Lebanon

IDF troops are continuing in precise operations in southern Lebanon. During operational activities, IDF soldiers conducted targeted raids on several Hezbollah military structures and located large quantities of weapons.

In addition, IDF soldiers eliminated more than ten Hezbollah terrorists who posed an immediate threat to our forces.

In parallel, additional IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon located a structure used as a gathering point for Hezbollah terrorists.
