IDF: The IDF struck the central site for the production of sonar and underwater detection systems
The IDF continues to deepen the damage to the military assets and capabilities of the Iranian terror regime.
During the last few days, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF Intelligence, struck several central production sites of the Iranian terror regime.
Yesterday, in the city of Shiraz, the central site for the production of sonar and underwater detection systems was struck. The site belongs to the Iranian terror regime’s Ministry of Defense.
The site was used for the planning, research, development, and production of sonar systems that are used to detect submarines, vessels, divers, and underwater missiles.
The strike significantly impairs the Iranian terror regime’s maritime detection and defense capabilities and its ability to produce and maintain submarines and naval electronic systems.
In an additional wave of strikes in the city of Karaj, a central site of naval cruise missile and air defense systems.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff in a situational assessment with the General Staff forum: “We will continue to act with determination and deepen the blow to the Iranian regime, and establish a forward defense posture in Lebanon to prevent direct fire toward our communities; we are also continuing to operate in Gaza, Syria, and Judea and Samaria”
The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, conducted a General Staff situational assessment today (Tuesday), on the eve of the last day of the Passover holiday, together with the General Staff forum. During the assessment, the main operational efforts across all arenas were presented.
From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff during the situational assessment: “We are approaching a strategic junction in the joint operation gainst Iran. Thus far, we have achieved significant accomplishments, including in relation to the objectives we set at the outset of the operation. We will continue to act with determination and deepen the degradation of the regime.
At this time, our troops are also operating in Lebanon. Lebanon constitutes an additional central arena. IDF troops are operating in the arena and are deepening the multi-focal effort to degrade the Hezbollah terrorist organization. We continue to establish a forward defense posture to prevent direct fire toward our communities, while simultaneously operating against surface-to-surface fire. In every encounter, our troops prevail over Hezbollah. War carries heavy costs, and we will continue to act to remove threats against our civilians.
We are also continuing to operate in Gaza, Syria, and Judea and Samaria, and will continue to remove any emerging threat in these arenas as well.
In recent weeks, I visited Metula, Kiryat Shmona, Shtula, and Nahariya. I met with residents, local rapid response teams, and troops in the area. The residents of the north rely on the IDF and express great appreciation for our activity. The perseverance and resilience of civilians alongside the troops constitute a significant and essential component that enables us to advance in our missions.
This week, during a visit to southern Lebanon, I met reserve troops from the 226th Brigade who reported once again for reserve duty. I then met with battalion commanders in the area - Amir, commander of the “Yonatan” Battalion in the Ultra-Orthodox Hashmonaim Brigade; Fares, commander of the reserve “Herev” Battalion composed of members of the Druze community; and Nimrod, commander of a regional defense battalion composed of local residents. I saw before me Israeli society at its best, in all its diversity - an extraordinary unity, made even more meaningful during the Passover holiday.
Together, they embody the story of the people of Israel - acting together toward one shared goal: ensuring the security of the nation. We will continue to act for our freedom. Have a safe holiday.”

IDF: The IDF struck an additional petrochemical compound in Shiraz - One of the last remaining sites used for producing critical chemical components for explosives and other materials for developing ballistic missiles
Yesterday (Monday), the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wide-scale air strike in several areas in Iran targeting key Iranian terror regime infrastructure.
As part of the air strike, the IDF struck a petrochemical facility where nitric acid was produced for the Iranian terror regime’s Armed Forces. In doing so, the IDF further degraded the regime’s military capabilities, particularly its production of weapons relying on the components produced in the facility.
The facility was one of the last remaining compounds producing critical chemical components for explosives and materials for developing ballistic missiles in Iran, following the IDF’s strike on the largest petrochemical facility in Iran and on the petrochemical compound in Mahshahr.
Simultaneously, the IDF struck a large ballistic missile array site in northwestern Iran. From this site, ballistic missile array operatives launched dozens of missiles toward the State of Israel.
The site was stuck while missile array operatives and commanders were operating to advance and carry out terror activities against the State of Israel and additional countries.
