IDF Targets IRGC Air Force Headquarters

The IDF can now reveal that the headquarters of the IRGC’s Air Force was struck during a wave of large-scale Israeli airstrikes across Iran. The strike was carried out following precise intelligence gathered by the IDF Intelligence Directorate and was part of a broader operation targeting dozens of key sites belonging to the Iranian terror regime.

Over the course of the operation, the IAF  intensified their campaign against the regime’s military infrastructure, striking numerous targets connected to Iran’s missile and aerial warfare capabilities. 

Among the most significant of these targets was the IRGC Air Force’s central headquarters. The site functioned as the main command-and-control center for the IRGC’s air operations. From this headquarters, commanders managed the regime’s ballistic missile units, oversaw its UAV program, and coordinated the activities of several additional air force formations. 

 The complex also played a central role in producing a real-time operational picture and planning missile launches toward Israel and regional targets.

By striking the facility, Israel aimed not only to destroy a key physical site but also to disrupt the regime’s ability to coordinate and synchronize attacks. The strike is part of a broader effort to dismantle Iran’s ballistic missile array and weaken the infrastructure that enables the regime to carry out large-scale missile and drone assaults against Israel.

Images released by the IDF for the first time show Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the former commander of the IRGC Air Force, inside the headquarters that was ultimately destroyed. Hajizadeh, who was eliminated during Operation “Rising Lion,” played a central role in directing and advancing the regime’s missile and drone programs.

From this very command center, he oversaw the planning and execution of numerous attacks and terror operations against Israel.

The building seen in the image was later targeted and destroyed as part of the Israeli strikes.

Operations against the Iranian regime targets are ongoing. The IDF continues to strike key sites connected to the regime’s military capabilities as part of its wider campaign to degrade and dismantle the infrastructure used to threaten Israel.
