The IDF Struck the Two Main Ballistic Missile Production Sites of the Iranian Terror Regime
Following a severe blow to the Iranian terrorist regime’s missile array, the IDF has, in recent days, expanded strikes against the regime’s production facilities used to develop and manufacture missiles and weapons.
Since the start of Operation ‘Roaring Lion,’ the IDF, together with the United States Armed Forces, has been striking powerfully at all the capabilities of the Iranian regime's systems. Approximately 3,400 strikes were carried out throughout Iran, more than 150 Iranian air defense systems have been disabled and approximately 7,500 munitions on targets throughout Iran have been dropped.
As of now, the IDF is moving onto the next phase of the operation, expanding the attacks on the regime's key weapon production sites. In recent months, the Intelligence Branch has been monitoring the Iranian terrorist regime's efforts to rebuild its production infrastructure and expand the number of missiles it possesses.

Over the past week, based on the gathered intelligence, hundreds of IAF fighter jets carried out several long-range strikes deep inside Iran, targeting two of the Iranian terror regime's most valued production sites for ballistic missiles and additional weapons. The facilities struck were in the areas of Parchin and Shahrud, both considered key parts of Iran’s weapons manufacturing network.
The first strike was the large military-industrial zone in Parchin, a site long associated with Iran’s advanced weapons development. The IAF struck infrastructure used for the production of critical components for several of the regime’s weapons systems.
These facilities included factories for explosive materials used in ballistic missile warheads, as well as industrial complexes producing specialized raw materials needed for missile engines.
The strike also targeted a facility used to mix and cast missile engine propellant, a critical stage in the missile production process. Without this step, the missiles cannot fly the long distance between Iran and Israel.
In addition, the IAF struck an IRGC complex responsible for the research, development, assembly and production of advanced cruise missiles. This is where the missiles are designed, built and tested. The engineers put together the missile’s guidance systems, engines and other key components, then assemble the final missile before it is ready for use.
By hitting these sites, the IDF is not only directly preventing the production of weapons that would have been fired at Israeli civilians, but disrupting the broader system that allows the regime to build and expand its missile arsenal, essentially allowing it to become a threat to the whole region.
In a separate overnight operation, Israeli aircraft struck a ballistic missile production facility belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Shahrud area, roughly 2,000 kilometers from Israel.
The Shahrud site plays a major role in Iran’s missile program. Intelligence assessments indicate that a significant portion of the missiles launched toward Israel and other parts of the region were manufactured there.
In recent months, the regime’s forces had been identified working to restore this infrastructure and expand missile production at the site, after it had previously been struck during Operation ‘Rising Lion’.
For years, the Iranian terrorist regime has quietly built a network of military industries dedicated to producing advanced weapons. They are made to threaten, sow fear and serve its plans to destroy Israel and harm the countries of the region and the West.
The IDF’s mission goes beyond simply destroying weapons already in the regime’s hands. By targeting the factories, laboratories and production lines that fuel Iran’s missile program, Israel is striking at the heart of the threat itself.
Every facility disabled, every engine destroyed, and every propellant stockpile eliminated directly prevents attacks on Israeli civilians and weakens Iran’s regional aggression.
Operation Roaring Lion sends a clear message: Israel will not wait for the missiles to be launched - it will act decisively to stop them at their source. The IDF remains vigilant, ready to strike again and again, ensuring that Iran’s ambitions to threaten Israel and the region are met with unwavering force.
