Fallen Soldiers From the War Whose Names Have Been Permitted for Publication:

• 600 since the beginning of the war (Oct. 7, 2023).
• 256 since the beginning of ground operations (Oct. 27, 2023).

*The number of fallen soldiers since the beginning of ground operations refers to the soldiers who have been killed during combat in Gaza.

Fallen soldiers as a result of operational accidents:

• 41 fallen soldiers as a result of operational accidents.

Data Breakdown:

• 20 personnel killed as a result of friendly fire.
• 5 personnel killed as a result of irregular fire.
• 16 personnel killed as a result of accidents (weapons, car accidents). 

This data is accurate as of April 4, 2024.

Current situation of hospitalized personnel:

• 57 in mild condition.
• 188 in moderate condition.
• 27 in severe condition.

Injured Personnel Since the Beginning of the War 

• 1,842 mildly injured 
• 849 moderately injured.
• 497 severely injured 
• 3,188 injured in total.

*These figures do not include those evacuated not as a result of an operational incident, and those who arrived at the emergency room and were not hospitalized / whose level of injury was not defined (including mild) and above. 

Injured Personnel Since the Beginning of Ground Operations in Gaza

• 716 mildly injured.
• 516 moderately injured.
• 318 severely injured.
• 1,550 injured in total. 

*The number of injured personnel since the beginning of the war are dynamic, are changing and refer to the most severe state of injured personnel 

This data is accurate as of April 4, 2024. 

Injured personnel due to operational accidents

• 54 personnel were injured as a result of friendly fire.
• 34 personnel were injured due to irregular fire. 
• 456 personnel were injured as a result of accidents (weapons, car accidents). 36 were injured as a result of road accidents, and 50 due to other reasons.

*The injured personnel data includes those who received treatment in the field and those who arrived at the emergency room but were not hospitalized or whose level of injury was not defined (including mild) and above. The data is transferred by the forces in the field and the Operations Directorate. 

This data stands alone and is not to be considered as part of the total injured personnel. This is in light of the fact that the total is counted in accordance with who arrived at the emergency room and was given a defined level of injury. The data regarding accidents includes soldiers who were injured in the field and were not evacuated.
