On Sunday, the IAF eliminated the commanders of Hezbollah’s anti-tank missile and operations unit in the coastal sector. They were responsible for terror attacks against Israeli civilians, including missile attacks on civilian communities in the Western Galilee area and the coastal plain in Israel. The elimination of these commanders further degrade Hezbollah’s ability to carry out terror attacks from southern Lebanon against Israeli civilians.

At 13:30 today, Hezbollah fired a number of rockets that hit and damaged a UNIFIL post in the area of Chamaa in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah fired the rockets from the area of Maaliyeh in southern Lebanon.
This is the second time Hezbollah has fired and hit a UNIFIL post today. At 09:50 this morning (Tuesday), Hezbollah fired a rocket that hit a UNIFIL post in the Ramyeh area in southern Lebanon.

A report was received that a UNIFIL post in the area of Ramyeh in southern Lebanon was hit, causing a number of injuries and damage to the post. An IDF review determined that Hezbollah fired a rocket that hit the UNIFIL post. The rocket was fired from the area of Deir Aames, one of many fired by Hezbollah in a barrage launched at Israel at 09:50 this morning.

With the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF struck and eliminated the terrorist Ali Tawfiq Dweiq, the commander of Hezbollah's medium-range rocket array, in the area of Kfar Jouz in southern Lebanon. Dweiq commanded the medium-range rocket array since September 2024, replacing the previous commander who was eliminated. Dweiq was responsible for the launch of over 300 projectiles toward the State of Israel, including toward Haifa and central Israel.

The 226th Reserve Brigade, under the command of the 146th Division, is continuing to conduct limited, localized, targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon to remove threats to communities in northern Israel. Earlier this evening, the IAF conducted its fourth round of intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah command centers in the Dahieh area, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut.
Over the past week, the IDF struck approximately 50 terror targets in the Dahieh area, from where the Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to plan and carry out terror attacks against the State of Israel. Read more about this round of strikes here.

“Hezbollah has paid a big price, its chain of command has collapsed, many of its operatives have been killed, and extensive infrastructure dismantled. The IAF conducted its third round of intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in the Dahieh area today. The Dahieh area is a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut, where Hezbollah systematically embedded its terrorist infrastructure behind the Lebanese civilian population. Among the targets struck were Hezbollah command centers.
Over the past day, the IAF struck and dismantled a rockets stockpile and 15 launchers in southern Lebanon, some of which were ready to fire missiles and rockets toward Israeli civilians. Among them, was the launcher used to fire projectiles toward central Israel on Wednesday.

Weekly Recap: The IAF struck and dismantled over 140 Hezbollah launchers in southern Lebanon some of which were used to fire projectiles towards northern and central Israel. Additionally, the IAF struck and eliminated a battalion operations commander and a battalion anti-tank missiles commander in Hezbollah's Radwan Forces in the coastal region on Tuesday. Additionally, a company commander in the Radwan Forces was also eliminated. Over 200 Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon from the air and ground.

A short while ago, the IAF carried out an additional series of strikes in the Beirut area, successfully targeting and destroying nine weapons storage facilities and command centers used by Hezbollah, which the terror group deliberately embedded in civilian areas. Prior to the strikes, the IDF made extensive efforts to minimize harm to civilians, including by collecting advance intelligence, leveraging precise aerial surveillance, and issuing advance warnings to civilians in the area to evacuate.

At the beginning of the month of October, the IAF struck and eliminated Hezbollah's Commander of the Khiam area, Muhammad Musa Salah, in the area of Khiam. Salah directed many terror attacks against the State of Israel, and was responsible for the launches of more than 2,500 projectiles toward the areas of the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee, the Galilee Panhandle, and toward IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.
During an additional strike this week (Sunday) in southern Lebanon, the terrorist Ayman Muhammad Nabulsi, the incoming commander of the 'Nasser' Unit's anti-tank missile array in Hajir, was eliminated.
Furthermore, during additional precise strikes, the IDF eliminated the Hezbollah commander of the Ghajar area, as well as the terrorist Hajj Ali Yussef Salah, who served as the Hezbollah commander of the Tebnit area.

Overnight, the IAF conducted intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah weapons storage facilities and command centers in the Dahieh area, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut, where Hezbollah systematically embedded its terrorist infrastructure behind the Lebanese civilian population. Prior to the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk to civilians, including issuing advance warnings to the population in the area. These strikes were a part of the IDF's ongoing efforts to dismantle and degrade Hezbollah's military capabilities, and the IDF is continuing to strike Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites in the Dahieh area.

A majority of Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure in Dahieh has been dismantled. This includes a site that was targeted and was revealed by Israel at the United Nations General Assembly in 2020, along with several other sites. This site was established in the heart of the Choueifat neighborhood, beneath a complex of five residential buildings housing about 50 families, and is located approximately 85 meters from a school. An underground terror Compound that Hezbollah cynically placed under a cemetery in Southern Lebanon was dismantled by the troops of the 36th Division over the last week.
Within the compound, the troops located command rooms, living quarters, and weapon storage facilities filled with arms and combat equipment - ready to be used to infiltrate into Israel. Read more about the compound here.

On September 30th (Thursday), the IDF began limited, localized, targeted ground operations based on precise intelligence in southern Lebanon, aimed at enforcing Resolution 1701—pushing Hezbollah, along with its assets and infrastructure, away from the border and enabling residents of northern Israel to return to their homes. Prior to the start of the ground activity, the IDF informed UNIFIL that the Blue Line area would become an active combat zone and urged the force’s personnel to vacate the combat area to ensure their safety. Since then, the IDF has maintained continuous communication with UNIFIL, coordinating its activity with UN forces and making every effort to prevent harm to UN forces and their facilities. Since the beginning of the activity, the Northern Command and UNIFIL liaison and coordination personnel have coordinated hundreds of operational activities. Troops from the 769th Brigade have dismantled approximately 300 terrorist infrastructure, eliminated terrorists, and located underground infrastructure, numerous weapons and ammunition storage facilities, including tactical combat equipment, intelligence documents, Kornet missiles, and RPGs. This also includes a mobile missile system ready for launch, containing 24 rockets aimed at the communities of the Galilee Panhandle. Read more about this operation here.

The 810th Brigade, led by the Alpinist Unit specializing in combat in mountainous Terrain, along with the brigade's battalions, have been conducting localized operations based on precise intelligence in the outskirts of the Chebaa village with the aim of exposing and dismantling Hezbollah’s launch infrastructure and locating weapons and intelligence assets of the enemy in thicketed, mountainous terrain.
The area was used as a launch site from which numerous attacks were carried out toward the Golan Heights, including the rocket hit on the children’s playground in Majdal Shams which killed 12 children. Read more about these operations here.

Over the past day, the launchers from which projectiles were fired from Lebanon toward Acre and Ahihud earlier today were struck by the IAF. This evening, the IAF conducted intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah command centers from which Hezbollah commanders and terrorists were operating, in a civilian area near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon.

Troops located a Hezbollah terrorist training center located approximately 200 meters from a UNIFIL base during targeted operations in southern Lebanon. The compound was used by terrorists for training, studying, and storing large quantities of weapons. The facility contained launchers prepared for firing at Israeli communities. Read more here.

The IAF struck 110+ terror targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Among the targets struck were approximately 20 terrorist targets in the area of Baalbek and north of the Litani River, in which approximately 60 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated. All of the targets were embedded in the heart of a civilian area, an additional example of Hezbollah's cynical exploitation of Lebanese civilians as human shields.

The troops have eliminated dozens of terrorists together with the IAF, including a Hezbollah battalion commander. Additionally, the troops located and confiscated numerous weapons, including Kornet missiles, grenades, and explosive devices hidden inside civilian homes and underground infrastructure.
The troops operated in dense, thicketed terrain, neutralizing and dismantling strategic military sites, including observation equipment and posts. They also conducted an operation on Hezbollah's regional command and control center used to direct attacks and rocket fire against Israeli communities.

The IAF eliminated Hussain Abd Al-Haleem Harb, Hezbollah’s Khiam region Commander, who directed and executed many rocket attacks against communities in the Galilee, and against the area of Metula specifically.
