Following three months of operational activity, IDF troops of the 228th Brigade under the command of the 210th Division, completed their mission in the Security Zone in Syria to remove threats to the State of Israel.
What was Found in Syria
Over the past several months, the troops:
- Conducted targeted operations
- Questioned dozens of suspects
- Apprehended several operatives
- Dismantled terrorist infrastructure
- Located numerous weapons, including RPG rockets, mortar shells and Kalashnikov rifles
Troops of the 210th Division will continue operating in the area in order to ensure the security of Israeli civilians, particularly the residents of the Golan Heights.
