Over the past week, troops from the Commando Division, the Samaria Regional Brigade and the Menashe Regional Brigade operated in a targeted operation in northern Samaria.
The operation began with a covert activity carried out by troops from the Duvdevan Unit and the ISA in the area of Tamun and Far’a, during which a wanted terrorist was eliminated in southern Jenin.
As part of the activity, Commando troops operated against hundreds of targets in the area of Tamun and Far’a.
The troops located an operational observation command room, explosives, weapons as well as incitement materials in support of the Hamas terrorist organization.
In addition, more than ten terrorists were apprehended, including weapons dealers and terrorists who advanced terror plots against IDF troops.
Dozens of additional suspects were transferred for further investigation.
IDF troops continue to operate proactively to prevent terror entrenchment in the area and to thwart any threat to the State of Israel.
