Weekly Summary of Counterterrorism Activities in Judea and Samaria: Duvdevan Unit Soldiers Thwarted an Attempted Terrorist Attack Against IDF Troops

As part of a brigade-level activity in the Menashe region, Duvdevan Unit soldiers, guided by the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA, apprehended three terrorists last night (Thursday) in Qabatiya who were planning to attack IDF troops. During the activity, the troops located improvised explosive devices which the terrorists planned to use to harm our troops.
In the Binyamin Regional Brigade’s sector, IDF troops and ISA forces located and dismantled an explosives production lab in al-Ram.
In the Yehuda Regional Brigade’s sector, security forces conducted counterterrorism activity in Hebron, detained five wanted suspects, and confiscated hundreds of thousands of shekels intended for terrorism along with numerous weapons.
Over the course of the week, IDF troops, the Israel Border Police, the Israel Police, and the ISA detained 70 wanted suspects, confiscated large sums of terror funds, and dozens of weapons, including explosive devices, M16 rifles, and “Carlo” improvised firearms.
Security forces continue to conduct counterterrorism activities in Judea and Samaria in order to protect the security of the civilians of the State of Israel, and residents of Judea and Samaria in particular.
