Special Activity in Southern Syria: IDF Troops Apprehended an Iranian Terrorist Cell

Troops of the 474th Brigade, under the command of the 210th Division and in cooperation with field investigators from Unit 504, completed a night-time operation to apprehend a terrorist cell operated by Iran in the areas of 'Umm al-Lux' and 'Ain al-Batsali' in southern Syria.
Following intelligence gathered during interrogations in recent weeks, troops of the brigade carried out a targeted night-time operation and apprehended several terrorists.
In addition, during the operation, the troops located weapons in the area where the terrorists were apprehended, including several firearms and grenades.
The division's troops continue to operate and prevent the entrenchment of any terrorist elements in Syria, with the goal of protecting Israeli civilians and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular.
