In an Aerial, Mounted, and Ground Exercise: Footage From the 210th Division’s Exercise in the Golan Heights Area
Troops from the 210th Division, including the 810th Brigade, the 474th Brigade, and the 3rd Brigade, completed today (Wednesday) an exercise in the Golan Heights area and the Mount Hermon summit, led by the Ground Forces Training Center.
As part of the exercise, troops in both mandatory and reserve service were called up and exercised transitioning from routine to a state of emergency through responding to extreme scenarios: including defending communities, combat at military posts, and offensive actions against threats.
In addition, troops from the Medical Corps simulated the evacuation of hundreds of injured individuals - both by land and air - from combat zones and from communities, in multiple simultaneous incidents.
Throughout the exercise, Israeli Air Force helicopters carried out troop transport missions, evacuation of injured, and fire support in direct coordination with the division’s troops.
The division’s exercise was conducted in cooperation with the local authorities, the communities’ defense departments, the Israel Fire and Rescue Services, Magen David Adom, and other security entities.
