Situational Assessment Held at Beit Lid

The Chief of the General Staff at Beit Lid: "The IDF supports its soldiers, in regular service and in the reserves. We have come to Beit Lid because our soldiers are here and to ensure that nothing more severe happens. The arrival of rioters and attempts to break into bases are serious, unlawful behaviors bordering on anarchy, harming the IDF, the security of the state, and the war effort.”

This evening (Monday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, arrived at the Beit Lid base and held a situational assessment following the attempts to break into the base with the Head of the Manpower Directorate (J1), MG Yaniv Asor, the Chief Officer of the Military Police, BG Avihai Meivar and other commanders.
