Underground Tunnel Route Dismantled and Rockets Located as Troops of the 16th Brigade Complete Their Sixth Combat Rotation and Mission in Northern Gaza

Over the past month, troops from the 16th Brigade, under the command of the 252nd Division, operated east of the Yellow Line in northern Gaza and have now completed their mission in the area.
The brigade’s troops will be replaced by troops from the 3rd Brigade.

During their activity, the brigade’s troops, in cooperation with Yahalom Unit troops, dismantled hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites above and below ground, including weapons, shafts, and underground tunnel routes used by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, the troops eliminated dozens of terrorists who posed an immediate threat.

IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
