In recent months, the 769th Brigade has been operating in southern Lebanon to dismantle terrorist infrastructure used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization and to prevent attempts to rebuild infrastructure in the area.
The troops operated in several areas, dismantling weapons and terrorist infrastructure, including an anti-tank missile storage facility and additional weapons storage facilities.
In addition, the troops dismantled a structure that was used during the war by the terrorist organization to fire anti-tank missiles toward Israeli territory.
The presence of weapons and terrorist infrastructure in the area constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF will continue to operate in order to prevent the reestablishment of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and to remove any threat to the State of Israel.
