Israel and Finland deepen defense cooperation: Finland’s Chief of Defense completes official visit to Israel

Finland’s Chief of Defense, General Janne Jaakkola, visited Israel approximately two weeks ago and met with the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, as well as additional senior commanders.

The commanders discussed regional security developments, as well as solutions related to modern warfare and multi-layered aerial defense in a challenging operational environment.

The visit underscored the importance of cooperation and friendship between the two militaries in light of a complex, multi-front security environment.
