The Golani Brigade is continuing operational activity along the Morag corridor in the Rafah area.
During the operation, IDF troops located and dismantled Hamas terrorist infrastructure, including a weapons cache, a site used as a base for terrorist operations, and a training compound belonging to the Shabura Battalion, which contained a mock tank modeled after an IDF tank.
Last week, a terrorist cell opened fire on brigade troops operating in the area. The troops returned fire and eliminated two terrorists. Shortly afterward, an IAF aircraft struck and eliminated an additional terrorist belonging to the same terrorist cell.
IDF troops will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect Israeli civilians.
