Announcement Regarding New Appointments to the General Staff Forum

After a lengthy process, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Yoav Gallant, and the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, have decided to promote commanders who excelled in combat on the ground and at headquarters during the "Swords of Iron" War to positions in the General Staff Forum. The Minister of Defense has approved the Chief of the General Staff's recommendations for the following appointments:
Brigadier General Avi Bluth will be appointed as the Commanding Officer of the Central Command. He will be promoted to the rank of Major General.
Brigadier General Shlomi Binder will be appointed as the Head of the Intelligence Directorate (J2). He will be promoted to the rank of Major General.
Brigadier General Dan Goldfus will be appointed as Commander of the Northern Corps and Head of the Maneuver Array in the Ground Forces. He will be promoted to the rank of Major General.
Brigadier General David (Dado) Bar Kalifa will be appointed as Head of the Manpower Directorate (J1). He will be promoted to the rank of Major General.
Brigadier General Aviad Dagan will be appointed as Head of the (J6) and Cyber Defense Directorate. He will be promoted to the rank of Major General.
