The IDF is Publishing a List of Area Numbers to Guide Gazan Residents in Evacuating High Risk Areas

Dear residents of Gaza, it is imperative you pay attention to the following map. Anyone who sees the area number which they live,  or is near an area on the map, must track and follow the instructions of the IDF through various media outlets and obey them. This is the way to preserve your safety, your lives and the lives of your families.

Since the beginning of the war, Hamas has been using Gazan civilians as human shields and planting its headquarters and military infrastructure in their residential areas, hospitals, mosques and schools, turning civilian sites into military targets.

This violates international law and the rules of war, which explicitly state that civilians must not be used as human shields.

The IDF takes all possible precautions to avoid causing loss of civilian life or injury, adopting all available means. Therefore, it always sends messages to the residents of Gaza by asking them to evacuate the targeted areas that constitute the target of the army’s activities.

This video guide is very important for you all, and deals with the evacuation of civilians from areas of fighting during emergency
situations.

During emergencies and as needed, the IDF will provide you with information and guides to save your lives which will help you and your family members to preserve your security and wellbeing.

The IDF is not interested in infringing upon women, children, and the innocents, and therefore it is important to act accordingly with this information.

Gazan residents - please pay attention

If you have knowledge of any terrorist activity near your house, like shooting mortars or missiles, or the existence of a tunnel opening, or weapons storehouses, or places to hide for terrorists and their associates, it could be asked of you to evacuate your houses in an emergency time for your sake.

The terrorist organizations take advantage of civilian areas for bad and expose you to danger, you and your family members

In emergency times, we will guide you to as many places, and we will let you know about which area and neighborhood you need to evacuate, and to which you need to go. To protect yourselves, during an emergency time you must head to known facilities and places and the IDF will let you know about the time to return as soon as appropriate conditions are available.

As such, we will update you about emergency times, according to situational assessments, as well as humanitarian pauses for supplies.

Gazan residents, women and children of the Gaza Strip, this message is specifically for you, preserve your security and protect your lives and please react to the information.

Do not trust the terrorist organizations that expose you to danger and prevent you from evacuating with their empty claims or by force.
