Since the beginning of the war, IDF troops have carried out dozens of targeted operations near the border in southern Lebanon to dismantle Hezbollah combat compounds and weapons.

Some of the Lebanese villages containing terrorist infrastructure are located very close to Israeli communities in the north: 

The IDF is currently operating to eliminate the threat of Hezbollah on our northern front and bring safety back to northern Israel.
